Looking into Smell Dissipation

I've read that carbon filters work great to eliminate odors and that the ONA Gels work pretty well also.

I don't have a grow room, just a dresser so it's like 3 -5 plants nothing major but I also smoke alot which has never been a problem w/ smell and building (alot of foreigners and building is pretty cool) but I wanna start looking after covering both pot smells (fresh & burnt)

Which do you recommend...in a building but my question is how would I create a carbon filter for my entire room or even just the dresser as there no central ventilation system in the room so no in-line things...I just use AC for air conditioning

for these purposes the ONA gel says It can clear a 10X10 foot room for 1 1/2 months...my rooms about 10X10 but I don't wanna spend $$ for no reason. ..what do you guys think?

not bad but how often would I have to change this filter...the cabinet is still being partially used as a dresser and I'd prefer to not have to cut a hole in back as the front h as two opening doors(from the middle out)...This is what intrigued me about the gel...from what I understand you just would have to leave the bottle open and it would work until it dissipates or just stops covering smell?

nope but I keep the doors open when the lights on for more air exchange and haven't noticed any stale air problems as of yet

the 2' T55 Fluorescent 3000k(cuz of budding) from htg supply.com With the door open its around 70-80 (my AC is on 75-78 most of the time but it doesn't build up too much heat unless I keep the lamp w/in 6 inches from cabinet bottom (a few ft. or room above)

A few pics...

I would paint the walls flat white or put mylar on them walls
You are using VERY little light for all those plants, with the walls being brown and the doors being open you are losing a whole lot of lumens
You should have the walls lined and buy a proper exhaust fan so that you can leave the doors shut

I was thinking of mylar or blackout(whiteout) fabric I read about on here cause its cheap...it's on the to do list but $$ is tight and I'm spreading it around little by little here and there...I just got my fox farm tiger bloom for now and in fox farm ocean forest so I know reflective would help with the light...i had used aluminum foil but everyone on here said it just built up heat and it wouldn't help w/ light

btw this is only my first grow so I'm trying to get things going well...figure everything out and invest what I can when I have to...I'll have alot more $$ to invest if i can smoke for free

btw the pic I took was actually with the lights off...its pretty bright in there when there on but i'll admit since they grew shitty at first(I made em root bound) I never got the correct trimming and topping done so there's some high canopy which blocks out the light from a few lower branches...next time I'll start out with 3-5 plants w/ the right soil from the beginning and just start em off in a big pot and avoid th probelms...in2-3 weeks they started shooting up and growing 1000% faster once they hit the right soil/pot so I figure i'm ok on that aspect so far

I'm trying to not cut a hole in the dresser for an inline fan althought it would help in this department ...it was bought for me and it may have to go back to being a dresser somewhere in the future

yea that's quite cheap thanks alot man I could probably order it this in a day or 2

any idea on the best way to hang it? it doesn't mention adhesive but tape seems to rip the surface off the inner plyboard of the cabinet

I'd go with the b&w poly plastic, really easy to work with and clean.
It is 10 feet wide so you would only need a couple feet, I think you can spare like 10 bucks sometime soon... right?

Use tacks on the corners, but put a small square of cardboard under each corner where you put the tack through. That way the plastic won't rip at all
