looking to buy grow box

so i'm doing the ever frustrating online search for the best possible product at the best possible price. the wonderful high times has led me to a few companies which i do believe warrant some attention, some out of my price range, some with poorly put together websites and one that i've found to be the best to navigate.

so my ideal setup would be something that's not overly huge, easy to manage, and not going to drain me on power.

my first gut choice was this box that ran off of T5 bulbs:
NEW: Electro Cube : T5 Fluorescent Profressional Grow Box for 4-32 Plants : No Heat & Super Low Power Draw : Powerful Odor Reduction System

i read a little bit about using t5 bulbs for a full grow and was a little nervous about it when i saw the replies. the price cut is almost unbeatable, but in the event that i'd have to be stuck with something that won't do me well, i'd be furious.

so this was my second choice:
New V3: Economy Grow Box - Beginner Cultivation Growing Chamber w/ 400w HPS w/ Reflector, & 3-9 Plant DWC Hydroponic System

the word "economy" in something usually sets off a red flag to me. i don't hate the earth, i'm just worried about economy, in my learnings economy usually means "extremely cheap". which is what it seems to be. the site has a very similar looking grow box going for near triple the price? i don't quite get it. and it comes with tons of extras. i'm curious as to what exactly i'm missing.

my optimal spending limit would be below 2 grand for a total package, the cheaper the better. but i also back the idea of you get what you pay for so i don't really want to snake out of the cost and snake myself out of the product.

if anyone has had any experience with this company or either of these products, or in general with my situation, do your best to inform me before i do something potentially stupid! thanks.

hydro hut 4x4x8. 400watt but 600watt would be better. you can do soil or hydro. IMHO i would satay away from the set it and forget it crap. plants thrive on interaction. the more hands on the better. your girls want to be molested. my two coppers peace and good luck

i'v been contemplating the mother/cloner one. they are expensive. wish they had a veg and flower one together like the mother/cloner. wounder if there upgradeable cause if they were i might buy one and just upgrade things as i go. it dosen't say it on the site or at least from what i read, but i wonder if the mother/cloner if you can change the lights in there???

through a little reading and understanding of these systems, you will find that you are better off without them and taking the simple route was the most enexspesive, and logical one. peace

Conference, I've looked at these same cabinets, mainly the super stealth, trying to find someone that has used one, they seem promising, but don't want to get ripped for that much money. I have seen a post or two on the economy model, and the buyers weren't very happy with them. I have time to wait and get all of the information that I can before buying.
