Looks like overwatering but...

I have a 3 week Bubba Kush plant that was doing so well until a few days ago.

It was healthy and green and beginning on its 4th node when I topped just the tiny apical bud off. After that things started going downhill. The leaves began to droop yet still were firm not limp. The bottom leaves started to yellow.

Basically it started showing signs of being overwatered from what I could find. It was in a solo cup until yesterday. I would water the solo cup about every three days. And that was only when the cup became very light, the soil had pulled away from the cup and the soil was bone dry down to the first knuckle. I had been very aware of not watering a moist soil plant. I had an organic potting soil in there also and would water until drips of water just started to drip from the 3 holes I put in the bottom of the cup. Also I would mix a 1/4 teaspoon of seaweed extract into a pint of distilled water, use some to water and some to foliar spray.

Tent temps were in the mid to low 70's usually and humidity a bit dry at around 20-25%. Good ventilation and a small fan blowing on it. Cfl's 4" from the top of the plant.

So I then thought it might be getting root bound, so yesterday I pulled it out and transplanted into a 3 gallon smart pot with supersoil. There were white roots around the outside of the root ball. I was careful to have a little potting soil mixed in around the roots to avoid them hitting too hot a soil. I then watered until the bottom of the pot felt a bit wet.

24 hours later now and it still looks the same. New growth at the top looks good, but most leaves firm and drooped and the bottom leaves yellow and laying on the ground.

Any thoughts?

Pics would help.

So without pics, I'll guess 3 weeks old in a Solo cup, outta nutes for sure. Explains yellowing from the bottom. Unless you're not getting enough light down there? If you watered her well when you transplanted, just give her a few days to adjust. Let her find that new soil and you'll be golden.

Thanks for your help. That makes a lot of sense. Maybe I should have top-dressed the solo cup with a little supersoil after the first week?

I'll post again if she rebounds.
