Lost my seed shipment

Ordered from Attitude, delivery to Colorado, and this is what I eventually received in the mail.

I didn't order the mug/tshirt, extra cost for guaranteed delivery, so I may be out $100. Waiting to hear from Attitude if they will replace the shipment.

Very bummed to say the least. If I'm out $100, I need to find somewhere local to get some good seeds in the future. Any ideas on that?

interesting that it's a USDA letter not Customs. Attitude usually only pays if you have the guaranteed delivery. try Herbies

The first idea would be to get the guaranteed shipping, especially if you live anywhere in the united states. If you read the forums at all you'd see all the "seized seeds threads". If they do reimburse you congrats but in all due fairness to those who do get the guarantee you shouldn't. Should try the colorado mmj area you will find a lot of helpful people to get you some seeds or clones.

I've got two of those letters! Last one was dated 2/3/14 from la customs, I bought the t shirt from attitude and they are re shipping for the third time. I'm also in colorado, desperately seeking quality beans!
Peace out

Out a hundred bucks trying to save $13. :wall:
I simply don't get that. I can't feel sorry when it's part of the cost of doing business. Next time, don't be a cheap ass (for fuck sakes your dropping a $100 anyway) and pay the Insurance. It's like a person with PLPD car insurance getting hit and getting Pissed about it, you knew the risk but made the choice to lady fate

I still haven't received my xmas attitude order. Two snagged so far and waiting on a third so getting the guarantee is worth the money. People talk about Chicago being tough but LA ISC also has attitude's number. Try a different seed bank. I also second 303 seeds idea but the only retail location is green grass in central city and selection is limited ATM. Check the Colorado med patients' thread for info on 303 or pm member greenpeak. Good Luck.

No doubt, get the shirt, get the mug. Guaranteed delivery is what you should pay for.

obviously i agree with everyone else.. even though the stealth is far from stealth, i could care less so long as i pay for the guarantee and they will resend if it gets snagged..
i look at the extra $13 as insurance in case anything happens, i'm not out whatever i spend on the beans in the first place.. surely $13 or however much is better then losing $100 imvho..
oh well, lesson learned, next time if you order, always pay for the guarantee, that way if shit goes down, they'll reship.. if you don't pay, you're pretty much s.o.l.

sounds like attitude is too hot for anyone in the states, what's the likleyhood of an order to the northeast getting snagged by customs?

From what Ive read on here the vast majority of snagged orders are ones that go through chicago customs, so the people in the plains/midwest are most at risk. I think northeast should be ok because it goes through NY. Im on the west coast and have never had an order snagged, mine go through either San Francisco or LA.

The northeast usually goes through New York. I've placed more orders than I can remember over the past 4-5 years and never had one snagged. I think I've made four orders since customs started turning up the heat late last summer (2 from attitude and one each from sea of seeds and herbies) and they all arrived no problem. I'm trying to get a nice collection built up in case it gets to the points where so many orders are getting confiscated the seedbanks decide it isn't worth it to send orders to the US anymore. This has to be costing attitude a fortune replacing all these orders.
