Loud air pumps

So I just purchased a 42L air pump. I Pluged it up and it loud, anybody here got a remedy for the noise. I am going to try to do some DIY insulation but if anybody got a proven method please share!

hey man it's crappy but you really cant wrap it with insulation cuz it heats up and burns quickly. read manual, says clearly it should be kept venting freely. all you can do is try place it somewhere where it makes less noise and place some cloth or blanket below it to absorbvibration, but yeah i have electromagnetic pump and it's damn loud.
