My ph is really low(in the low 5s) and I need help.My first problem for a while, ive used the same soil and nutrients each time and now im having problems. Now I have been reading up on a few solutions and found some answers. Its been about 3 days since I added 3 tablespoons of Dolomitic lime on top and watered with a 1.5 tablespoons of dolomitic lime per litre solution. I havent seen too much improvement, but it looks like there not dying as fast as before. The plants are growing slow too, the oldest being over 3 weeks. Please let me know what you think I should do. Ive flushed them all with 6.8 ph water and still they have a low ph level. p.s Im using litmus paper to meaure PH.

plants are topped except 2 smallest.

This is what I gave them

these plants were just trimmed a few hours before the pictures so alot of dead leaves are gone. You can still see the brown spots and such.

I just transplanted them into a slightly different soil mix with extra perlite, and half the soil is a new brand I got.

No worries, That shits in the garbage got some new ones kickn. I think my soil was left out in the hot sun for too long were I bought them. Apparently the heat cause soil to become more acidic. Luckily I got new soil that is at a nice6.5 ph level.

Litmus paper just isn't going to do it, YOU NEED A METER. They aren't THAT expensive, try Ebay.

My soil run off tests at about 5.6. Fox Farm soil, day 60 of this grow. I have been adjusting my water and nute solutions to 6.5 but it looks like the soil has acidified over time. My tap water, which I filter with a Brita filter, tests at about 7.4 so I have been using pH down. What's the best step to take ? These girls are in flower now but have at least 30 days to go.

I'd be grateful for any advice.

Thanks,
H
