First crack at doing autos....here is the setup: Lighthouse Hydro tent (3x1.5x5), 250w HPS, 2gal Root Pouch pots, Promix HP, FF Trio when time to nute.

Seeds into dirt 8/15....today (8/20) the BB and WW seem to be doing just fine...the LR however might be pulled...the seed never split apart after breaking ground and is just sitting on top of the soil. I germed by soaking seeds in RO H20 for 24 hours then right into the pots.

Temps are pretty good considering my need to completely shut off AC during the day when im @ work. 86 F when lights on and I'm home...gets up to about 102 F but only for a few hours at the end of 18/6. 73 F lights off.

Pics will come soon, really not much to look at right at the moment, just a few seedlings :)

Any questions or tips are welcome.

IMG1967.jpg the set up. 6in. cheapo inline booster fan in top right for exhaust. IMG1968.jpg LR#2 (look below push tack, It's only there so I can find the damn thing in the soil! *update: I removed this one :( I credit user error, although I cant figure out what since the other 2 are doing ok. IMG1969.jpg WW Auto, 2 days old.

For some reason, the Auto BB pic didn't come out...I'll try to update this as regularly as possible.

Lively around here eh?

Gave first dose of FF Big Bloom yesterday , mixed @ 1 TSP per gallon of H20, each plant received roughly 1/4 gal. of juice. Here they are exactly 24 hours after feeding: BB day 8 #2.jpgBB day 8.jpgWW day 8 #2.jpgWW day 8.jpg

One question I have that hopefully someone can chime in on: Notice how my pots are not filled to the top with soil? They started filled, and after my first good watering It settled at this level, also Ive noticed a gap around the circumference of the pot where the soil should be like the medium is constricting? I know not to pack the shit out of the soil put should I pack it down better when I first put it in the pots? Also, if anyone has used these Root Pouches before, please add some input....I'm not getting ANY drainage from the pots when I water, but I'm pretty sure they're getting what they need.

So you went straight with bloom nutes? I ask just because I am on day 7 of 14 auto plant grow and still deciding if I should use veg nutes around 2 weeks for one or two times then switch to flowering nutes at around week 4 just trying to find the best results. There looking good. Happy Growin!

yeh pack it bit with your palms and it should be better. you can add some more soil to the pot if you want up to the cot's... even later to get some extra nutes to finish out the crop if you wanted to.
