LowRyder 2 LED Rubbermaid

Just started a LowRyder 2 in my Rubbermaid yesterday.

Two 50w lighthouse hydro blackstar LEDs
passive intake with pvc in bottom left
exhaust hole with fan outside of it (temporary until I get a plug to wire my computer fan)
Some kind of shiny material on the inside lol forget what it's called.

I think I will start a new plant when this plant is about 2 weeks from harvest.
taking suggestions for seeds to buy from attitude, pref. that don't smell too crazy.

today is the 3rd day since ive turned the lights on, taproot was really tiny when i put it in the soil.
it still hasnt sprouted, just wondering if this is normal..

How small was the root when you planted? And which way did you plant the root, up or down? You germinated before planting right?

Idk just barely sticking out. I germed using the paper towel method and planted it down

Still nothingg. I just want to see some sign of life so I know if I should germ another or not! How long should I wait? Figured I'd give it a week or 10 days. I'm sure it will sprout sooner though and I'm just being impatient

If it doesn't pop up id say next time drop it in a glass of water oovernight and then put it in the soil up to your first knuckle and let it be. I haven't grown mself but my friends done some personal grows n that's how he starts them! Just a thought! But your set up is awesome!!

Thank you! I found out I buried it too deep, I pushed the soil to the side lightly where I knew the seed would be and found my seed sprouted underground. When it gets a few inches taller I will push the soil back where it was.

Good selection on LED's. Though for such a small grow area i probably would've used just 1 50w unit, but just my thoughts on it. I've grown 2 batches of Short Rider, its well within the same genetics, though autoflowers but its all the same. Haven't had a bad batch yet and real resilient strain to mildews and pests. Not the highest producing, both thc and overall yield but still I like em

Haven't updated in a while but it's really small! Sprouted about 14-16 days ago

Edit: from what I hear it should show sex sometime soon..

you wont see its sex til it matures

which can be anywhere from like 3 weeks to 5 weeks most of the time.
