Hey guys just weighted my harvest after it hung up for a week or so, I got 51 grams, from 2 bag seed girls and the 150hps......It still needs to cure for a while but ive already been smokin some.........I guess thats ok for my first hydro attempt......The even better news is i already have a couple white widows and northern

lights flowerin!!! got clones of those goin and some more about to go 12/12....And im also getting my 600cooltube and exhaust setup.....And using the advanced nutrients this time....i just cant wait till the next harvest...

And what up greenearth, hows it goin??

Hey roll, sounds like things are going well. I've been loving my 600 and sure you will too. I just need to finish the venting for it to get my temps down. Not to bad but still to high. It's making my res temps to high also. If it wasn't for the Hydroguard and hygrozyme I think I would have real problems. My rooted clones look so much better since I've been using it. Just ordered the replacement for them from AN yesterday, Tarantula and Piranha. Got some free stuff with the order too. Carboload, Bigbud (I have that one already) and Bud Blood (been wanting to try some of that).

what kinda temps you running with the 600 hash? Im hoping to stay about 76 or 77, like i have now.....hopefully...i have not even started using mine yet, just have had no time to set things up......no real hurry though, just started flowering again....

And yea i got i little packet of carbo load and heavy harvest with my AN.....may try some outdoors or somethin

Hey roll, My overall temps are not to bad but the problem is my res temps are to high. Running between 75 to 80 degrees. With out the Hydroguard I think I would have a real problem. Not with the oxygen since it is really an areoponic setup (NTF in buckets) but with bacteria. Not over 85 at the canopy though. I definitely need to do something. I'm going to try to get a new fan done today. Right now I have only 130 cfm computer fans running inline, 2 of them. But with the inline setup I'm only getting 130 cfm instead of 260. I'm going to make another one with them side by side so I can get 260 cfm and add the vent from the other side of the reflector so I can draw the air for it from outside the room. I also have been running a window AC that does help but I cant leave the door open all the time to the closet get the best of it because of the light. I'll try to get some pics when I make it and post some along with my purple buds. Their getting more purple every day.

Good bacteria are great it's the bad ones that suck. I found out first hand. I've been working on things with putting in good bacteria and adding extra emzymes and mycorrhizae. I ordered some Piranha from AN for that. But even with the Hydroguard and Hygrozyme that I've been using I've seen a great improvment in my roots. Much better looking. I got the fan done yesterday. Seemed to help a little bit, temps went down 3-4 degrees in the 2 res. I didn't get the other end hooked to the outside yet though. I got some pics too. I need to find something for better light for taking pics too. I was going to take one out into some sun and try but it was to late. Next time I will. I want to get some good pics of these buds before I chop them.

Hey guys i want to remind that i am growing with soil again. My 4 strong akxlowryder females are doing great under the t5 4 bulb. They are flowering like crazy now at 5 weeks with the 2 taller ones at a foot tall or more. I have noticed that a couple leaves have yellow tips and i was wondering if this was spider mites or a phosphorus def. The other one has bright orange at the tips and looks like phosphorus def. I was thinking about increasing fox farm tiger bloom with a phosphate level of 8% to 3 or 4 tsp instead of 2 like the grow chart reccomends. Should i try this or just stick to the grow chart i really want them to be perfect, lol.

Here are a couple of pics of my new Brainstorm plant. What do you all think? I'm pretty pleased. I'm trying to find the right kind of pot to repot it in. I also have three northern lights #5 x haze seedlings I started which so far are doing well. happy growing all. :peace:

Pics would really help, It's hard to say without seeing them. Sounds like nute burn maybe.

Plant looks good. Is it yellow on the leaf tips? Are you still working on hydro?

Your baby is looking good to me wnaanbee, i would like to see some pics of that northern lights you got, once it takes off...i got a couple northernlight x skunks goin....

What did you use for soil? Does it have anything in it?

Hey roll, It brought the temps down a little but not enough yet. Need to hook up the other side so I can keep the AC in and not be sucking it out. It's fine when I have the closet door open. But I'm not home when the lights come on in the morning so it stay's closed during the day until I get home. The air temps are ok it is the res temps that are a little to high.

Thanks Hashlover and roll420. I used some FF Ocean Forest. Didn't add the extra perlite yet, will do that for the next transplant. I may try a little AN nutes next watering. I have other kinds of nutes, I just want to make sure the N-P-K ratios are correct. Read somewhere about the FF Ocean Forest having enought nutes for awhile, but its probably about time to add some, maybe just a smidgen, don't want to get carried away and burn my baby. For my next transplant, I think I'll just get some of those bags from the hydro store, can't seem to find any plain old pots at home depot. Will take pics of the nl#5xhaze when they're a little bigger. Wondering about 1982, haven't heard anything.

I've been wondering where he has been too. Maybe he got a girlfriend?? I use the Ocean Forest for soil too. Great stuff, I did not have to add any nutes for about a month and plants looked great. You'll know when the time is right for nutes. I waited to see a bottom leaf start turning yellow before I gave them any. What are you using for AN nutes? I would definitely recommend using some Sucanat too. I like it better than mollasses, easier to use and a lot of great stuff in it. I don't use it in hydro though.
