LP "starting materials"

I'll just keep my yap shut like I have the last 15 years and grow what I please. Should something happens that gets me in court over it I would expect my medical exception to have some sway over the judge's verdict.

I'm over 60, never even been charged with a drug offense of any kind so a fine and maybe probation would be the worst of it for me. My criminal record consists of an impaired driving conviction in '93. One speeding ticket in '01 since and that's not criminal.

Losing my plants, grow gear and seed collection would be worse than a short stint in the slammer to me.

Still a hell of a scam buying into the genetics they stole in the first place. As much as I hate the trend just buy feminized seeds if plant counts are a concern. Mon$atan surely has great ones waiting in the wings for re-legalization before unleashing their demon hoard on the cannabis world.
Lots of brain-dead zombies just lining up to buy them too. :)

How appropriate for All Hallows Eve. :D

So in your legal opinion how would they deal with a legit patient with a large script? I have a family member on meds (perks, fentanyl) in jail and he gets his meds daily.
How would a patient with a 10g a day script medicate in jail or prison?

$750 ransom for mother plants you don't even know exist...ridiculous.
Do they send you update pics and report cards like sponsored kids in Africa?

Unfortunately things in prisons in Canada are really bad right now, just look at the person in Ontario who's been in solitary without a trial for 4 years? Or close to it. You can file a complaint with the ombudsperson but that's another case of things you should have 'on paper' that face intimidation and delays practically.

Since cannabis, even the 'legal' kind isn't covered by insurance, I wouldn't expect it to be covered in prisons either. Unless you can afford LP prices it's likely they'd just say 'you don't have a right to cheap medication/cannabis' and wait to see if the person would even challenge it to the ombudsperson.

If by 'legit' you mean fully medically approved but out of prison, that largely depends on the situation. A great test case, though, would be someone who has a 10g or whatever per day ACMPR from LP's who grows even without having a proper 'grow' license, I suspect it would be tossed as being unconstitutional given the doctor's authorization doesn't/shouldn't depend on how you get the 10g/day.

No guarantees in court though, especially in uncharted waters.

You have to think of it in terms of how patients can grow in the ACMPR. If you have a 10 plant limit, and you keep your own mother and clones and vegging plants then you can't always have 10 plants flowering if you're following the rules.
You could definetly just veg and flower out 10 plants at a time. Or if you wanted say, 4 mothers and flower 6 id say that youd be more than able to meet your 2g/day script. Its a very do-able set up

So you can pay them $750 + $20/clone... OR you can clone as needed, grow less but larger plants to get what you want/need out of them. I'd like to see how they came up with the cost per square foot to keep a mother going for $750...

If one of these LPs would sell seed, I'd buy it just so I can say I did if brought into a court of law.

There's no fucking way I'm bringing their dirty clones into a clean room. That's asking for troubles.

Just sent in all my forms waiting to hear back. Looks like they have a lot of interesting strains. Guess will see. I only see my self getting one or two clones. I've got a bunch of packs of seeds from the house of the great Gardner and peekseeds BC that I wanna dig into as well

Unless you're after LP genetics specifically there's really not much point in buying a lot of clones from them other than the CYA angle.
