I finally got a real light and moved away from CFL growing. It's already such a dramatic difference I am kicking myself for not changing over sooner!!! Anyway here's my ladies and my grow.

They sprouted June 5 and I started LST about the 2nd week. I've never done LST but the benefits are outstanding. This will almost double my yield and that's at minimum. I took 5 clones off both plants and they are almost 2 weeks old since cuttings were taken. 3 are perfect and I just transplanted them into the final pot. These I plan on just vegging for 2-3 weeks and then sending them into flowering along with my 2 big ladies that are LST'd. The 2 LST plants are a little over 2ft if they were standing up and the stem is thick as hell. This flora nova is fantastic. Each branch looks like it's a main cola so there will be minimal popcorn buds even the lowest branches are huge and not much smaller than the main cola. LST is sick and if you have never you need to ASAP.

I started adding nut's around day 10 maybe. I started off with 2.5 ml per gallon then 5 ml to now aggressive growth at 7.5 ml. Every 2 or 3 feeding I am using some black strap mollases. Big yields coming from these ladies on this grow is coming. Being this one my first time cloning that's another thing I should have been doing for years now. Having the light was just the jump start I needed.

2 of my clones have turned some yellow but both have green on them also. They have all rooted and the other 3 are green as could be with a little brown but I figured that's just part of the cloning process. Is it?

The flora nova nutes are the best I've ever used in anything anytime. Every time I've ever grown there has been some sort of discoloration or something different but not with this grow. The stems are so thick they will be able to hold up a small child and I was worried being the LST is working so great I was concerned the buds would be to heavy but that's covered now. A similar grow yielded me a little over 2 z's per lady and I think this will be double that at least. This grow might be my 1st 4+ oz's per plant grow. The 5 clones I was going to send into veg for 2 quick weeks then flower everything but I might instead LST 3 more and let the final 2 just grow normal. i could use some quick $$ and I would like to get rid of 6-8 z's

I think tonight I'll start adding nutes to the others and get this grow moving along. I might just LST all of them and get max yield. This would mean 1 more month of vegging. Being the 2 I have now are looking this good after around 1 month these other 5 will be the same and that should get me around 3 z's a plant and I would bet I can get an lb out of this grow.

i think your plan sounds good. i lsted 2 plants under 1 600 watt hps and allto gether i got a half pound off 2 plants. i was aiming for a pound but got only half way. but i aim high and expect low so im never disapointed. but only my first grow was really disapointing

Mcpurple that's fantastic that you got 1/2 lb for your 1st grow. I've seen so many people that say you only get an ounce or so on grows and I always think they must be idiots or doing something way wrong because even on shitty grows I get 1 ounce minimum. Today I finished transplanting the clones so everyone is in their final grow pots. The decision has been made and I am going to veg these clones for 1 month and LST what I can to ensure the whole grow area is covered. I might even set up a screen(never done that either but there's nothing to it) and get the max amount I can. I'll keep this journal going and hope it invites others to just do it and try LST for themselves. It's the easiest way to double your yield without slowing down your grow at all. I mean why wouldn't someone do LST???

sorry , it wasnt my first grow it was my 3rd, my first grow i got about 3 ounces off 2 plants but it would have been better if all the plants werent moved to 3 differetn cities while flowering alot of stress on them. and yes lst is great theri is virtually no stress on the plant as to topping and super cropping. and the screen would be good if u think the plants wont support them selfs in flower, witch they might not unless u have some sort of support.

I've never had stems and a root system like these girls so we'll have to wait and see if they support the weight. I am going to say yes. I thought the screen just assists in keeping them lst'd. It never occurred to me that it strictly for weight. A grow or two ago I had some 2 liter sized buds and they stayed up fine but were close to tipping and they were not 1/2 of the size of this current grow. It must be the genetics and a perfect soil blend because this is definately my finest grow to date.

it is also used to help lst the plant to, but also as support. mine always stay in the spot where i tie tem though, a screen is just a kinda easier way, ive been wanting to use a screen to now for awhile.

Check this out. I just noticed today that one of the clones has 2 main colas's. Wait until I LST that little lady. I should only have room to LST 2 more and then I'll let the other 3 clones just grow normal for 4-5 weeks from now before I send them all into flowering. My new strategy is coming up with a cloning/veg area where I can keep 2 or 3 mothers and veg them. I might look for a 150 hps and just use that. If I go that route I'll probably just send clones into flowering after 1 - 2 weeks at best of vegging and go for a sea of green with frequent harvests. There is nothing to it and since I've already got things set up perfect in my grow room now which I'll just keep as my flowering room. The 400 watt hps is nice because it's low temp's with just a small 5 inch fan keeping it cool. Your able to keep the plant less than 1 ft from the light like this for max growth. Having a SOG would allow me to put probably 18-24 plants easy. They would only be 2 ft at best and I wonder if trimming like a bonzai as some people do when doing a SOG grow? I would think just leaving the plants alone and short cutting isn't needed but I've never done and always do my homework before hand.
