LST harvest and dry yield.

Bottom line, has the LST technique given you a better yield?

Has anyone here used the LST technique and already harvested and dried?
If so,
How much was your wet weight?
Dry weight?
Does it yield better than other plants you have grown without using LST or do you get the same general results across the garden?
Does it speed maturation at all?

I have topped and pruned for bushing and clones before and it went well. I thought about doing something just like LST then I learned about the "official" technique. I'm sure the plants would flower better and mature a little faster due to more light, I just want to confirm consistant results. Thanks in advance! +Rep for advice.bongsmilie

I did a grow using LST all i can say was yes it really did improve my yields becuase all the lower pop corn buds became seperate colas. Who probably wouldent be a cola if i let it grow naturally. As for yield, not sure if my yield will help but dont qoute me on it. I had a OGK kush Clone LST in a 5 gal pot vegg for only a week and a half and a kush seed in 1 gal pot only 4 days younger than the clone and it grew naturally. I harvest 3 weeks early and heres my yield, 7 grams OGK and 2.5 grams regular kush. Dissapointing yes but it was a learning experience and also my plants were 6-8 inches tall :)

i have done a comparison of 1 strain with lst and non-lst, in my grow signature
i did better with the non-lst weight wise, but i like the lst crop because of the more even sized colas
Thanks for that input growone, Was kinda thinking to do exactly as you done, Can we also state that if we aint got very much height to grow LST would be an advantage to a grower... Thanks once again. +Rep
