Lst/scrog

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good LST/SCROG guide or directions on how to do this?? Thanks

I'd search tags for LST and SCROG grow journals.

not to sound like an asshole but i hate that damn search tags. it never seems to point me in the right direction.i jsut wander aimlessly looking at posts and it all shows up throughout the day usually repeatedlly man and then you learn a shit ton from reading all day.i just recentlly starting posting i usually jsut read and move on.

hey stovedro, Im also new to scrog growing and am having a hard time looking for guides. (good guides anyway) I have pretty much read all the guides I could find and some posts and grow logs I have found I may have to play it by ear and use the tecniques I have read. Unless someone experianced comes in and sets your grow space up its alot of trial and error (hopefully less error) set on the basic principles of lighting ventilation and water how it goes into your space is up to you.

I know this probably didnt help but im sure if you get into it and have troubles the people on this site may be able to.

Yeah there is abit of information on other peoples grows. As a naeve (spelling) newbie I was trying to look for a guide that matches my situation. As I read more info I realised No1 is going to grow it in the same way I am so I have to take bits and pieces from all of those guide and basicly create my own for my own situation. I may not have been clear with that sorry. I did read through alot of those growfaqs

meh let me tell you something kwaka... this is my 3rd time through, and while the RIU community may help guide you, it is up to you to try new things and experiment... You will make mistakes and learn from them and I guarantee you that your 2nd will be better than your first and your 3rd will be better then your 2nd etc.

I know what you are sayen about the grow journals though; most of the time its impossible to find someone doing something similar to your grow and then even when they are, looking at pictures and reading descriptions isnt quite teh same as having the mom sit right infront of you

oh and in my opinion, the growFAQ has some pretty poor LST guides... The best one on there was a guide made in microsoft paint =\... we need somone to step it up and show us a 1-2-3

yeah Thats what I was getting at thanks for clearing it up ... it has good info but as far as guiding me through it, it doesnt really help unless I put more than one growfaqs together. as a newbie I am now understanding any grow that I do will come from experiance no matter how much I read. Trial and error with a little dash of forum help is my recipie.

well kwaka u sexy bitch, i just stepped it up big time for u and i got my girl to let me borrow her camera so I can post up some pics of my LST, my room, etc. This is my first time attempting this technique but I think i pretty much get the jist of it lol... im not an expert on the topic though and I would actually like some LST growers to maybe com ehere and give us a little advice... anyway pics in 5 minutes

Start a journal and people will watch and give you advise, but like said before its pretty much all trial and error

So here we go i'll let you see em and judge for yourself. I got 4 plants right now, the big one started from clone that I got from a medical club in LA, it is an Afghoo clone.


So yeah basically you can see the interior of my little studio, and where I keep my babies over in the closet...

I just bought that white oscillating fan to try to help the temps but I actually think it has just made it HOTTER in there lol... I dont know, see how the windows/doors are setup in my house? THey arent particularly close to the closet, so I dont know if air from there reaches my closet... Also even though I am legal and all, I dont like the idea ofbraodcasting to the world including my neighbors and landlord....


I WANT to get a hps to flower these girls but if I cant figure out how to control the temps, I am not going to go out buy an hps, find out its just torching my girls, then put them right back under their already hot t5...

Ever think of a cooltube and a extraction fan.If you buy a HPS and a good hood with a extraction duct then vent it outside your flowering area would that not work for you??As far as LST I take clones from one side then tie down thats where im only basically growing from one side and plant recieves all the footprint are what i call the good light.This will increase more budsites on the main side and really bush the pant if done right your plant will be growing more horizontal and allow you to get the light closer to all your budsites increasing bud density and mass.
