Freeze precipitate, you'll end up with a more pure end product. Then, you can evaporate the left over solvent.

that one seem so much easier i'm trying it now along with afew others, so the DMT is collected in the naphtha i was under the impression that it was in the solvent, any help understanding it better.
p.s I hope this makes sense cause i just tried my dried poppy extracted and i'm feeling pretty good.

If you got rid of the naptha and evaporated the basified water all you have is BAD. Taste a little bit of the stuff you are evaporating, if it taste like table salt you messed up, save the naptha and discard the water at the end next time. Are your crystals forming lines or circle patterns?

circles, I thought that so i discarded all of it. now I'm awaiting my lsa extraction the seeds it self where pretty potent, and I got another batch of dmt cooking up while reading uncle fester's Advanced Techniques. the first tek I learned from erowid was so confusing I didn't know what to evp at all I got to the final step and went what do i do now, I had dcm and naphtha and didn't know where to go from there i guess the naphtha would be what i wanted but I like I said I was left with a brownish yellow crystle so knowing that isn't dmt i discarded. I like the other one you showed me way better. It's soooo much easier can't wait to try the final product you did say it will be purer your way, right?

lol in aus its acacia bark and naptha
make sure you FREEZE the mix then pour off as much excess as possible. the dmt will freeze and your solvent will pour away. then leave outside to evaporate and then do your wash. some brews i have made came out amber so dun worry if its not crystal clear.

There is really no need to wash the freebase after freeze percipitating when using Naptha, Naptha is a very clean solvent(compaired to Coleman camp fuel and the likes).
You can heat a small amount of naptha and recrystallize the DMT by freeze percipitating, it seems to get rid of some impurities.

So I finally got started again, what I've done so far is mix the root bark and NaHO then added about 50ml Xylene later I'm going to siphon of the top layer but add another 50ml of Xylene to the NaHO/Root Bark mix and repeat 4 times then mix 5ml of hcl with 250ml of water then add this to the xylene mix then siphon off the the hcl water and evaporate it.

Are you planning on injecting the DMT? If so than you would need to convert it with an acid like you are planning. If you plan to smoke it than just collect all the NP solvent and condense down to 15% the volume, then place in the freezer. Make sure to use a vessel you will be able to scrape the DMT out of. You smoke Freebase DMT, DMT Hcl will burn/decompose with heat.

OOoooh, I was mixing it up with the San Pedro extraction i'm doing, I'm planning smoking it so the xylene is the final step, when I did my first extraction I did that with the NP and was left with a gooey consistence no crystals
so I was broke but on this one I see the salt crystals in the xylene already but don't know how i want to condense it, I guess I'm going to just let it evp then freeze or put it in the oven.Ps where does the jungle dmt come from because i need as much as possible.

Psychotria viridis bush and Banisteriopsis caapi vines..
