Machine that produces constant CO2?

I wonder if there are any machines just short of just burning oil to give your plants an abundance of carbon dioxide consistantly. Do you think something like this would have a great effect on your grow? Do you think you could have a high enough concentration to not harm the plant, but kill any kind of bug. hahaha, you'd probably end up killing yourself forgetting to turn off the machine before going in the room.

co2 generators are machines that constantly put out c02. Usually it's propane from what I've seen, but I saw a link to a NG unit the other day.
They have mushroom bags that are supposed to release a good amount of co2 and then you get a bag of shiitake ushrooms at the end of your grow, but I haven't looked into them too deeply. I will be doing a burner for the size of grow I do - so I have only really looked into that.
