Some good looking buds! What nutrients you running in there?
The hated AN brand lol. Actually its the worst for dwc I run their organic oim line. Its a bit of a headache getting it right. A but smelly and dirty. I tried it and liked it so I stuck to it but I don't know any better. Once I run out ill consider trying different stuff if I've stockpiled enough of what I'm growing now because its awesome.

I am going to run the full Current Culture line and have heard very good things. Sure cost me a good chunk of change (I bought all 1 gallon bottles to save money long term)

Well we are at the end of week 7 now, tomorrow I start week 8. I am looking at my buds and I have no idea if I am close to finishing. Can someone tell me if they think this is my last week before I should worry about flushing or if it will take a few more weeks? It is supposed to be Blue Dream and in dirt I am readying it takes 8 to 10 weeks.

How fast to trichomes turn amber? When I start noticing them at say 10%, how long does it take for them to get to 50%? Are we talking a couple of days or a week? Here are my close ups, I don't see many amber, and I can't really tell clear from milky, there certainly looks like there are lots of clear ones still.

I plan on flushing for 3 days in darkness with final flush, draining the system every day. I will start that process when about 30 or 40% of trichomes are amber is my rough guess. These are yesterdays pictures. Sorry they are large to be able to zoom in. I cropped out all the junk as much as i can.

Flushing is for toilets. Looks like about 2 more weeks give or take.
Thanks! So there will be growth for 2 more weeks? That would be incredible. They are starting to have a hard time supporting themselves lol.

I have been reading up on flushing and what not. It seems like lots of people don't bother but the evidence seems to point to benefits in taste, how it burns, and even an increase in size and thc when combined with the darkness.

In the end I am too new to know any better and would have to try it. My last run did not get a flush. It tasted green till about of month of curing then it was good tasting smooth burning bud. Ill flush this time see if it is an improvement, but i honestly had no complaints.

Probably wont grow much more in those two weeks but could pack on a little more weight. The last two weeks is more about letting them mature than growth. Usually bad tastes are from cutting to early but a month of dry/cure time is a bare minimum for me so I would call that normal. Instead of flushing, just stop feeding or cut feeding way down.

You are in dwc correct? Flushing only takes a few days for that, and by flushing, that means just feed ro water (maybe ec roots if you have a product like that)
Sounds like these guys are above are assuming you are in soil.
Trichomes imo should only be 5-10% amber at harvest. Usually once there is 50% cloudy trichomes you are about a week from harvest.

I dont see any amber, but its hard to see from those pics.
I see a lot of cloudy though. Looks to me you should change the rez out for ro water Tuesday or Wednesday, drop the plants into 24 hours darkness friday, and cut down Saturday.
Can't say for sure though without a more clear pic of trichomes

Yeah it is DWC. My water change is tomorrow so ill just do that for now. They say 2 days flush is enough but I'm timing it with 3 days darkness which should give it some stress to produce more resin and the. I use a product called final flush with pure RO water. I plan on draining and adding new water daily those 3 days. I'll keep watching those trichomes.

Sounds like a good plan! Good luck!
