Hi. I have been dealing with mg deficiency and have made the step to give them a feed of epsom salts. It seems that my nutrients (canna aqua) dont agree with my hard water and as a result is causing the lockout. Will there still be the same lockout affet if i mix my nutes and the salt in my res or should i feed them separately?

Many thanks

How did you come to that conclusion?
Epsom in your res. most likely would not all completely dissolve, so not a good idea on that one.

Hey.Well first of all i will be dissolving the salts in hot water and throwing that in the res (a qtr of a tspn per gallon). I have a few pictures but i don't they bring out the detail of the problem enough.

Its definitely not a ph or over feeding/watering issue. I'm in a hard water area so i think it might be locking out mg and i made the mistake of buying nutes meant for mid range hard water but i think mine is just full blown hard water (ph 7.9 from the tap).

The plants leaves are yellowing starting from the back of the leaf working out towards the tip and yellowing between the veins whilst the veins are still green. New growth has slowed to a minimum and is starting to look quite spindly and weak with drooping. Some lower leaves are browning and dry at the tips working its way inwards.

Thanks again.
