Mag plus2

I got my hands on a couple of these new lights the other day and they appear to be some of the best lights ive come across so far. I didnt say the "best light." But IMO it has conquered some off the biggest issues in the led world. Easily accessible drivers, the pods can be changed out, individual --what looks to be billet aluminum-- heat sinks over each over each cluster and to top that off. They put a 15 watt cree with a conical lense in the middle of the cluster. It really has a nice spectrum and spreads in a circular patter for a square light. It looks to be covering a 4X4 area without any shadows. Sorry i dont have any pics to show. Im sure Magnum will have pics out of this light really soon. I was told i got lucky from my hydro store--apparently they got a couple of lights on the pre-release deal. All I can say for now is,,,,,,I like what i see. The proof will be in the pudding. Oompa times in your garden.

Don't worry foreverfly........it's just a custom shell with Bysen modules(their patented/have sued successfully in China), no one else makes them.......and in typical magnum style their overpriced by a huge margin
if you like the light just get two six module panels from bysen led at a third of the cost.....

So you just don't have a camera or did they tell you don't post pics until they start advertising them? I need info, sounds like either a bysen like psuagro said or a cousin to the xml series. I've alwsys noticed crazy similarities between magnum and advanced.

Found it...but didn't see much detail on it?

Hahaha you always come with the clever ones chron.

Bysan is basically like cidly or eshine, led manufacturer in china where other brands in the U.S. Buy them and rebrand them and sell them for 3 times the original cost. Cidly and bysan and e shine are the top led manufacturers in the world.

I just dont have a camera now. Just because they are using bysen chips doesnt mean that you will get the same quality of design and maufacturing. I can assure you, that I own a bunch of junk lights that were manufactured on the cheap. Please dont turn this into a thread about "you can get the same light from cidly,,bla, bla, bla. This is not a cidly or chinese POS. THanks for the input so far fellas and have a good 1 .

I hadnt heard of the bysen chips yet either. Thanks PSUagro. I will agree that this light is way up there on the price list.

You may not want to hear that. It is what it is. Thats how the led industry is. Fero, area 51, vipar, agroled, blackstar, mag, etc.... All from china. Some may be assembled in the U.S. Ultimately comes from china.

The largest light bulb company in the world is sylvania. They are based in germany. Their sister company osram makes everything. They are in the same city in china as all the other companies

Even General Motors is in china now. ( thanks obama)

Just because it comes from china does not mean its a piece of shit.

Where ever or what ever you get...

The mags are still good lights though. Foreverhi has done some pretty good grows with his mags.

Im definitely interested what the mag plus 2 can do.

So far so good. I had 2 mag+ over the plants and swapped them out for the mag+2. The same plants look much better under the mags then my plants under the POS Blackstar 900s. I am super impressed with the lights so far---both mag+ and mag+2. And not only that.....there appears to be alot more oil on my plants than previously. I havent seen them this covered yet. I just wish i could have my strains tested in order to quantify some of my thoughts and opinions. Same strain for the last 2 years and i just changed the light it was under. No pics and not gonna post any at this time. Dave put the light up on his site finally so you can go there to check it out.
