I'm subbed up

Im tryin to figure out what u mean by all the branches coming off of one node
in this pic, you see how the two big, bent branches come of the same level on the trunk ...the main one, with the clips.....then two branches are below it.....the bottom ones are on a lower node.....what i will do with the Ace, is keep only the top two (the hub).... and build four tops from each side.........making eight total..

;-)
So it goes from one main stalk to two tops and then bushes out from those two tops?
yep......pretty much pinch for two, then pinch those for four......then for eight.....the difference, is their are no branches coming out of the main trunk above or below the hub......even distribution of energy and nutrition.......keep following along...it will all become clear real soon.......remember, the lower two branches on the node below the hub will be removed for clones.....let me know if that is clear......i tried to insert happy face here, but can't figure it out.

That's awesome it makes perfect sense now.
With clones it's a little harder though right because they don't grow symmetrical like a seedling.

Do u do this technique when u grow outdoor?

this is my version of micro/bonzai.....these are 11 inches tall 12 days into flower....but these are clones...........you can get similar results building a hub with clones, it just takes a little bit more time working the bonzai magic...
Beautiful little ones. Thanks for sharing :)

right, it can be done though....but for now we will stick to seeds......i plan to run all my plants this way....outdoor too.........i am all about consistant nug size, small stature, self-supporting structure, and most importantly, no larfy bud........so if all branching comes off of the same height of the trunk, the only understory left is that beneath the terminal colas......donkey dicks baby!

....of course not all strains work well for this....but i have trained some sativa dom., branchy hybrids pretty good too....but indica dom. plants work very well.

....it started last summer when i sprouted seeds on july 1st of a qrazytrain cross....trying to squeeze it in the season.....i topped it to have eight heads.....put it in a 10 gal smartie and let it rip in the july/august sun.....what happened is, it started flowering on aug 4th or so and finished oct 16th........only grew 30 inches tall, had very short node length, on the trunk....but yielded ten full oz. of jar nug....NO larf, none........then i started to look at the plants structure, and went from there.....the internode spacing on the trunk had a lot to do with the awesome structure of the plant......and anyways.......long story short...led me to this technique...

Whut up nugbuckets.

Did some "main-lining" tonight on a vortex and a timewreck female from seed. MAde clones with the branches i cut off.

I'm super excited to try this method, i've got a great feeling about this.

Thanx bro for the awesome idea.

Stay lit!

Hey Bud....those look tits! in the last pic, the plant in the back has four even heads, coming off the same node....you will end up with four matching donkey dicks, because they will get the same amount of energy.....awesome.....the plant in front will have two.....because they one in back was pinched early for four.....nice job....

....the only difference in my ace is, they will be pinched a bit earlier, when they are still true symetrical.....as a matter of fact i will probably pinch for four tomorrow already when the main stems are only about 2-3 inches long....but today they will be re-potted into 2 gal. hard pots....they are growing fast....and we have perfect greenhouse weather this week, sunny and 60....so that will really help push this tutoral along.....nice work Bud....glad you are along for the ride!

...p.s , the front plant is set up perfectly for six heads....if you keep the two mains tied down like you have, those two symetrical branches directly above the V in the trunk will flourish....train each side to have those two branches plus the main cola, but try to always keep them at the same height (main cola/ two secondaries) during the next few weeks....she will end up with six beautiful heads...

.....it is all about the stem.....focus on the energy each stem is getting from the trunk, focus on the stems.....the flowers will follow.

your plants are going to be awesome.....

on a side note....the two girls sprouted the same time, and were the same size before being repotted into 1 gal. pots for one week.....one in a hard pot, one in a smart pot.....huge difference...smarties rule....repotted to 2 gal. hards for training...will pinch for four in a day or two.

thats killer! she looks healthy as hell......now she is real close to being ready to top for four...her shoots are almost long enough......kick ass.

After taking that pic I did top both of the nodes so we should have four heads soon.

Thats a crazy difference between the smart pot and hard pot, I might have to invest in some smart pots

did you clone the top? if not, you will get another chance in 3-4 weeks...
