How `re things in the garden these days Yankee?! Hope you`re well mate :D

KC :weed:

Hot, been flirting with 90* in the flower room during the current heat wave. Haven't been able to spend as much time in the garden as I'd like so I've started getting up earlier - just like a real farmer! :-P

Don't know if you saw the most recent update in this thread, but Wanda has about another week or so to go. She got a good drenching last night and I expect one more will take her to the end of the line.

Thanks for checking in KC, been swamped the past month!

Thought I'd throw up a couple of pics of Wanda2. She started as a cutting from Wanda and developed as a tri-node (hesitate to call it a true triploid as the mother was not) and was trained to 12 heads. She has been in flower for 4 days. She has been every bit as cooperative as her mum.

Yeah doin well thanks mate :D very much enjoying the cooler weather, hasn't gone below -6 centigrade yet so has been quite mild, lovin it!

Still enjoying the last harvest man, she is getting better with age too, I didn't think it was possible for it to get smoother and somewhat stronger, really knocks my head off still :)

How you going mate? Hope the summer isn't treating you too badly, I'm keen to see some nice bud pron ;)

Love the look of the 12 headed wanda yankee. Looks like you really evened out all the heads nicely.
It's mostly the strain stone, the WWxBB works well for this technique.

Glad to hear it EC! Summer has been brutal in these parts man. Hot and humid all around and its been a real challenge to keep the environment in tolerable range for the girls. Taking off for a three day weekend in the mountains after I water/feed them this morning so looking forward to the first R&R away from home in months!

Peace!

Harvest day is always bitter-sweet to me but this one is especially so. I had a lot of fun and a great experience with this first Mainline effort but it was a bit sad pruning and trimming Wanda today. Overall the harvest looks pretty good for an Indica dom, I'm going to estimate in the 2+ zip range. Thirteen of the sixteen heads were pretty full and plump, two were noticeably stunted and the last one was just pathetic.

Here are some pics from the Wanda's final hours...

Here is the manifold structure after the sixteen heads have been severed.

Finally, the trimmed heads in all their gloryious funkiness!

I want to thank all who have shared in this journey. I have learned a lot and am more than happy to continue sharing what I have learned here and in my other current mainlining efforts. Feel free to post to this thread or PM me if you have any questions, want to share your experiences or just want to say hi.

Keep it green!

She looks awesome Yankee. I always feel like harvests are bittersweet. You get so used to seeing the girls everyday and then they are gone the next. Just seems like something is missing in my life if I don't have plants flowering.

Great grow mate, thanks for sharing your success man.

Exactly - You have to grow to know, man. I also agree with your post in another thread that growing is the only thing addictive about weed!

Thank you for the grand show!
Absolutely, thanks for stopping in!

Thanks D! I will follow up with a dry weight then a smoke report in a few weeks after a decent cure.

Jarred up the buds this morning, dry weight 46.3g. I have not run this strain before but it is pretty comparable to other Indica doms I have run in the past. The big difference is that there was no popcorn or small buds (except one of the heads which was not included in the weigh-in).

Overall, I am very pleased with this technique and have a few others (Hashberry, Grapefruit, WWxBB) in flower now. Think I will try Blueberry Headband next in the fall.

Thanks all who have followed along with this grow. I appreciate your time, advise, comments, etc.

Keep it green!
