GPW is a ridiculous measurement like i stated before. til you realize that tony this is an irrelevant shit show.
as for total grams per kilowatt used is a bit better of a measurement. you can blah blah it all you want tony but get i threw your head gpw is dumb. if i veg for 6 months and get a pound off with x genetics under a 1000w. you ran lights, fan, food for 8 months to get the pound. so to veg for 2 months and get a pound off with x genetics under a 1000w. you ran the same lights, fan, food for 4 months to get that pound. so realistically you get the same yield with half the electricity but your grams per watt would be the same???? oh wait this will be a shit show get on with it so we can all laugh. gpw is irrelevant and ridiculous so what are you gonna prove?

Gpw is a great measurement. If you run sog or grow trees you still know your watts in flower. The gpw ratio is an unbiast way to judge how your flower performed. If your method and work in the grow room wasnt as good as it could have been your gpw suffers. Like if you didnt fill the footprint with plant and have open spaces all over your going to be low, or if you drastically trimmed or had bugs, crappy strain, whatever. The flower cycle is what it is and theres no changeing the time it takes to flower. What you do before flower and what you use to get it there are irrelevant. I could use aptus nutes at 450$ a litre and you could use miracle grow, thats irrelevant, you could veg for four months and i could sog, irrelevant. You could have old dirty bulbs and mine might be double ended, gpw doesnt care. Its a measure of your flowering performance and if the method and growers talent were good enough to make your flower room perform the way you wanted it to in the 60 days its running. Now go shit somewhere else, nobody cares if you cant get over a gpw. Its called grower talent.

exactly:)
someone could use 1000w and get ½ gpw
and someone could use 100w and get ⅔ gpw ...... Its non biase like you said:)

strictly gpw you know how to figure that for sure. but actual cost of total grow per gram is what i am after.
i say have fun i am not out here to dis i am here to learn. til you open your minds to think the whole thing threw from seed to harvest gpw is still a bunk number. shit shitters

the way you look at it and judge grower talent totally throws the actual talent for a short veg and high yeild out the window. your judge of talent is to take a crap strain that yields high amounts and say i have the highest gpw. i know my gpw will not equal that of any hydro grow. i am fine with that. also i grow for just myself and friends. i say do what you do but your judge of yeild and talent a bit off.

Fuck no. I know a guy who runs rdwc with double ended lights and pulls 2.5 gpw every grow! With less veg time than me and his shits always better than mine even if we run the same strain lol. Hes has much more grower talent than i have. Hes been doing this for 12 years too. He as a grower knows what works best, i cant run his set up for a number of reasons, one being i like simple grows, with a low percentage of fail rate. We as growers dont do this for our health (well some do), we do this to put the biggest bag of weed we can in the drawer with the least amount of light.
Shit if there were no such thing as plant counts id be doing things waaay differently. Id run a couple thousand site hydro sog and use that footprint to the max. Oh and btw, my highest yielding strain is cherry pie, followed by star trek, but i have three new ones this round and im not sure what they will do. Buut i know ill evaluate them based on gpw and decide if they are worth keeping. You have to use some type of measure for feasability of a strain. I wont run low yielding strains, i also wont run strains that produce crap weed. I shoot for tasty strains that get you baked that people like.

sorry to accuse about the shit strain and the whole thing to be honest. your take on gpw is reasonable.
