Making FPJ out of culled males

has anyone made a FPJ with their discarded males? I think I’m gonna give it a shot, does anyone have a good recipe to follow?
After it’s all fermented what dosage do I apply it to the plants? @maranibbana I know you mess around with KNF, do we have a thread somewhere with all the recipes & applications specifically for cannabis?

Sounds like it would yield a nice nutrient/microbe population specific for cannabis. I'm sure the "recipe" would be the same as far as plant matter to sugar used though. I know little to basically nothing about knf and fermenting, so dont take what I just said at face value.

Look forward to hearing some other people chime in.

What are you using to ferment it? I only do KNF FPJ, FFJ, FVJ stuff. Ask away

This will be my first shot @ knf, so I plan on just doing glass ball jars for now. I was gonna start with FPJ(fermented plant juice), LAB(lactic acid bacteria), & FFJ(fermented fruit juice). I’m gonna go to Costco & get a bunch of brown sugar. Any particular brands better than others? Once I cull the males do I chop them up in fine pieces or just jam them into the jar? I hear the roots are also useful. Should I also ferment the roots in a different jar & what would that ferment be used for?

Cool. Sounds like a good start for now. Are you making your own LAB? Id use Molasses over brown sugar. Just me tho..

Besides, you don't need brown sugar if you are going to ferment with LAB.

Cut/grind them up small as you can is best. Fill the jar halfway with anything from the same plant- i.e. roots, leaves, stems..etc. Add your water, add your LAB. Let sit for 7days with micron filter lid..coffee filter.. Paper towel.
With this method you are, 'feeding the plant back to itself'. This would be a fertilizer that it recognizes immediately.

I pretty sure I read somewhere NOT to use molasses & to make sure you use brown sugar, although maybe they are referring to JADAM instead of KNF

It depends on what you are using it for and which step of the process. I dont use either for fermenting anything. Molasses should be used as a fertilizer supplement to raise EC for your feeds/microbe food

If the FPJ is itself (not another plant like stinging nettle). I recommend, 1cup of FPJ per 1 gallon of H2O every 4-5days
Would the application rate be less if it was something else like stinging nettle? Does every plant have different application rates?

Sure. Depending on the strength and process used its best to start small. BC each plant will have different levels of metals, also taking into account your own nutrient feeding cycle. Application rates for soil tend to be 1:10 and foliar sprays at a rate of 1:20(dependant on factors/plant condition.etc. From there, work your way up to make it stronger if the plants respond really well.
