Making only the best hash? (Tamisium extractors worth it?)

Hey RIU I have not been in the hash making process for like 3 years last time I was just blasting through a glass tube into pyrex and purging...anyways nothing special! Now I want to do hash properly and get all the proper materials (vacum etc) anyways is tamisium worth it?

What do you all recommend, where to start?

Id recommend building your own lil terp from skunkpharm.

Tasmisiums are nice but very expensive. Making the lil terp wont be cheap either but youll save about 1000 bucks give or take.

Youre good with blastin straight into pyrex out of glass tubes. Thats what alot of the better hash makers out there use.

You can get just as good results from a tas or lil terp, but theyre mainly for recycling the butane or doing it indoors where you still want good ventilation on the off chance of leaks or when transferring liquid hash from container to container.

Ive been wanting to make one because the butane always seems to be holding us back from extracting. Ill have a bunch of trim or shake or my friend will but no one with the money for the butane. Most head shops/stores charge 10 a can at least for anything good, so lately ive been buying online because its around 3-4 bucks a can.

Also recycling your butane is good for the world and it would help me run other people shit and not have to charge them an arm and a leg for the butane.

So someone can just come over with a couple zips of trim or nugs and ill be able to make it into wax/shatter for them for a small amount of the final product.

Instead of charging them for the butane and then getting a dab or 2 for helpin out. haha.

I say they are awesome but, I have never used anything else so I have no reference

If you dissolve the trichomes you cannot call the end product hashish, it is not like there is not plenty terminology for you to use.

I've played both with Tamisiums, our own passive recovery Lil Terp, and the powered Terpenators, to arrive at the conclusion that you can do a lot more with a powered system than you can do with a passive system, in addition to it being way faster.

heard many of Tami owners regretting their purchase, and go back to open tubes.

I've yet to hear of any disappointments with Terpenator units.

Most of the wax I have seen from a recycling machine are grey -black. Is there a trick to getting it yellow or white in a machine?

For the DIY aproach how is the solvent recovered ??

HVAC reclamation units will pull the butane into a storage can.

Start with a light colored strain and extract, as well as recover at low temperatures

Any issues with running butane / CO2 or any other solvents thru them ??

An oil less refrigerant recovery pump with proper elastomer seals, works well for butane, but they don't work well for C02. CO2 Requires a different type of pump.
