Just an update/bump as this plant is still frustrating the hell outta me. I'll get more pics later but there isn't a great deal of change in the area i'm worried about. The query calyx/balls are only on one node of the main stem, the rest of the plant's potential budding sites all have female hairs. They have got no bigger really, they're not quite pear shaped and not really ball shaped either. Maybe it's too early still, it looks a little like some of the pics i've seen on micro sexing threads, male and female ones!
Can a female calyx go or be dormant maybe?
I was going to post this yesterday, but instead i devoted my online time to researching pics, threads, faq's, as i see a lot of unnecessary questions about sex, but i can't find anything that similar to what's going on with my potential dudette!
I've said it before, i'm not desperate for this plant, it's just a bit of personal smoke in my campaign to 'ditch the dealer', so the moment i'm even semi convinced this plant is hermie it will be removed. That said, it's a beaut of a plant and it would be a damn shame to make a fatal mistake and kill a girlie!
