Male of Female?

Any guesses, or is it to early?

about 9 weeks, it got munched by slugs, they ate the bottom shots and leaves.

I'm gonna say female.

doesn't the calyx mean something. like, when it's up it's male and down is male, or vice-versa? i read that in the cannabis grow bible(look it up!)
