Male or Female [pics] - help please!

Hi guys,

I hope you're all nicely baked. Not too baked, I hope, to help with a question I have regarding the sex of one of my plants.

I've uploaded images of one that I have that is female, one that *was* male (he dead now) and two pictures of the mystery boy/girl. They're almost four months old, and have been flowering 12-12 for about four weeks. Identical conditions all round.

If you could help in explaining exactly why the mystery plant doesn't seem to be showing any signs of sex by now it would be much appreciated. I include the other pictures as this is my first time, so want to make sure I'm looking for the right things.

Many thanks in advance.

I wouldn't toss it just yet, there's really no sign of either to me in those photos. Could be that it's just taking a bit longer to show. I'd hang on to it until there's definite nuts or pistils.

Cheers, I know that plant #1 is female, plant #2 is male (different plants) and pics three and four are of a different plant entirely.

Can you tell me why you think it's a male guys? Since i'm getting mixed reports an all.

Also is it fair to assume that it would have started flowering after four weeks of 12-12 or does it sometimes take longer? Should I hold out to be sure or ditch?

Many thanks.

Nice looking lady in pic #1!! If i had to guess i'd say female for pic #3 and #4... definetely don't pull it yet...

If they are different strains, that may be why that one isn't showing sex yet, different strains take different ammounts of time..

Keep up the good work, do you got a grow journal?
