Whats up yall. Newb here got 6 feminine autos already in flower along side 6 unknown bag seeds that just flipped to flower now 8 days in. This is a 12 bucket rdwc using solar storm led and t5 as well as a cfl. Real experimental obvy don't know what I'm doing but I've learned a lot here. Anyway I need help identifying possible males to cut out so will post pics .I think it's a bit early but I'm hoping for some clues or help. Thnx

Those are male pre flowers you got there

@jonnyquest thnx alot man but ok so pretty much I'm 2 for 6 male now I guess I will give em a couple days to see for sure then cut em down. I have to watch the other 4 to see similarities .....already some are showing the same little cluster of nut sacks so I'm guessing that's the key to identifying males right?? Other unknown it looks like more of hairs but here's another pic lemme know thnx again

Those clusters of nuts are the male pre flowers they start at the base of the nodes like that and then start growing all over there really is no need to wait but it will be a while till they actually start putting out pollen so you could take it as a chance for observation, they will stretch faster than any females you have going into flower at the same time.

And the pic from before to answer your question is a plant right next to the male under led that's under a cfl. I guess that's a male to because it does have that cluster so that's 2 for sure next to each other I'll cut down. I'm hoping the other 4 aren't 2 of those other 4 are the last pics I just posted. This tiny runt looking thing I'm posting now is another unknown I have

And on those last pics I think maybe I see 1 white hair coming from the base of the node just above the big leave in the foreground, which would be a female preflower but its too small to say for certain, I hope it is

@jonnyquest ok I understand much better now thnx. Yea I'm keeping em for a couple days just to observe and learn. Also to compare with the other 4 I'm watching. But from what your saying as far as the stretch is concerned that means I have 3 males out of 6 for sure. So dam dam dam wish more autos would have made it I started with 12 and half died. So I just threw the bag seeds in hoping for the rest since I had 12 buckets to fill......well thnx again those clues really helped me out now I know what to look for specifically

no problem, I hope the rest turn out to be ladies for you to grow out, at least now you'll have a little more space

as for the stretch thing though don't take it as a definate sign of a male plant some females will grow faster than others as well it's just a general observation that male plants get taller quicker, the pre flowers are the only real way to tell early on which gender a plant is
