Male?

First indoor grow just flipped the lights, I am starting to see some growth on the nodes. So is this a male? I'm not going to chop before i know for sure myself but I'm trying to learn how to identify them early for future grows,

The second pic looks like a male sac but it looks a not to early to tell..how long have you had them in 12\12? Also are there any thin hairs coming out of you preflowers? And how old are they? There are some other signs of males like height, distance between nodes ext.

They have been under MH for a month,2 weeks under a flourecent before that. Only been a couple of days in12/12. Had one male show about a week ago.

yeah i am definitely going to wait until I can tell myself. I'm sure they will be obvious with in a week or maybe a little longer. And cell phone pics aren't the best either.

You can sex by checking the pre flowers of the plant, by the nodes. First your calyxes will developed then your pre flowers. Males will always go into pre flower so check for your sacs anfpd females you will see the smallest thinnest little hair or 2 coming out. Preflower usually happen 2 weeks before they are old enough to go into flower..example 8 week veg, you will be able to early sex by checking pre flowers at 6 weeks.
