males - too late

just a thought crossed my mind found a male in my grow the ususal bunch of small grape/balls groaths every where etc - but at what point is it too late - i mean when does a male actually polenate a crop- how do u tell

when you're looking at male plant and thinking thats a male i should get him out of there. he's already dropping his pollen all over your lovely ladies, if you've got a male get the f*"ker chopped and out the grow room man!!!!

good point i,ve checked and it was like within 24 hours just thought there was a way you could tell when a male starteed to shed pollen

Ruin my crop .... all I can do is pick the seeds, but they keep coming back .... I don't care though! I won't except a shit load of seeds with no buds .... so I pick away .... you get into it after a while .... really get off on finding big honker seeds ....

I am having the same problem...Whats the absolute fastest way to identify a male?

Is this true even if the females haven't started flowering?????


What if it's only a male preflower?

I always thought that the males came out about 1 month before the females.

can you do anything with the pollen? and will the seeds the plant produces.... could these be female,male seeds?

if you dont get it out before it starts dropping pollen you can spray with water (to keep the pollen from becoming airborn) and carefully remove him it may in fact be too late... Last grow i had one slip by me and i didnt notice until the leaves had pollen on them. Which is very late and ended up with very few seeds and no loss in potency I think i got lucky. I hate to kill my plants but If killing one will help all the others i will do so
