Yeah the Mango Zamal is a new deal, I'm waiting on them to post a gallery entry for it.That should be exciting. I've got satori from mandala and so far it is a strong and uniform strain, I popped 2 of 5 and took some cutting, still waiting to see if one will show sex. On day 8 of flowering for the clones. But yeah I think this would be an awesome strain to take to the equator with it's 'immortal gene.' Thanks for bumping man!

Mango Zamal, 100% sativa from Mandala seeds. Any one have any experience with this? If not this one how about any experience with a 100% sativa? Or Mandala seeds?
I've never had or heard of Mango Zamal, but I have had 100% sativa before. Some of the best stuff I've ever had.
I might have to check out some of the strains from that site. I have heard of Satori, and would like to try it.

I just ordered a bunch of seeds but got on the sativa train a little late unfortunately or else I would have definitely bought a pure sativa. I think Satori is worth taking a look at. I like how it isn't a nutrient guzzler that's a + for me. Thanks for posting!

Thanks man, I think I might start one and give it an update every few days. So far my setup is very similar to something Gastanker ran. Using Cfl's and Y splitters and a vanity light and some brooders for lamps. Right now marks 11.3 days of flowering (thanks Herb.IQ), lights will be back on at noon-noon thirty and I will check and see if I can see any pistils on my Satori cuttings. Yesterday I was beginning to think that my cutting from the stronger plant of the two is going to be a male and the weaker of the two hopefully a female. I'll try to get some pics for ya and maybe start up a thread somewhere on here around 1. Thanks for all the feedback!

I used to like the more indica dominant strains when I was younger. But recently, the sativa and sativa dominant strains are the ones I like the most
now.

I'm placing another seed order this next week, and will be getting a few pure or sativa dom strains. Attitude has one called "Eldorodo", it's a Mexican
land race sativa from the Oaxaca region, which is where I have lived for 10+ years. If you know the right people there, there is some awesome sativa
in that area.

I'll probably get that Satori in the next few months, apparently it is supposed to be one of the more powerful strains.

So many strains, so little area to grow in.

back in the day, and that day was back in 70's, you'd run across some very special mexican bagweed(pretty much only kind of weed then)
extremely nice and soothing, what i wouldn't give for some of that bagweed now(especially the seeds)
names were thrown around, who knows what you were getting? but from some Oaxacan descriptions, i'd say the chances were good
i see nirvana has that strain eldorado which is an Oaxacan cross? but like you say, so many strains
if i thought i could get that old mexican feeling again, i'd buy those in a second

I do miss those commercial weeds from earlier times. And the prices...
I went back to Mexico in 2005, a little east of Oaxaca. Most of the weed there is the same commercial crap that you'll find in the US,
brown, seeds, more of a headache feeling than an actual high. But if you could get to know some of the older smokers, they had some
nice bright green weed, little to no seeds, and a great head high that will last hours. There were no name brands, they just called all
weed mota.

They say Eldorodo is sativa, but doesn't say pure sativa. But it doesn't say it's not either. I may email Nirvana and see what they say.
If it is a pure sativa, and has the same quality as the green stuff I had in Mexico, I will order those seeds the same day.

Barney's Farm has Acapulco Gold. Not sure how close it is to the actual AG, but it must be a good smoke, it placed 2nd in the Cananbis
Cup 2010, something like that.....

the genetics are out there(somewhere), but that's the tip of the iceberg
from some good growers threads, your weed and the weed from your seed may not be quite the same thing
even if i had some of that old bagweed seed, what would pop out of my grow chamber could be quite a bit different
reproducing the conditions that made it special is not a given
so for the moment, i continue to grow the hybrids i see so many grow logs on, they've been true to me in that they give me what others have reported growing
but i will try some landrace seeds eventually

Pretty much everything I am growing right now are sativa/indica hybrids, and a lot of them are indica dominant.

I've grown stuff from bag seed before, and the finished product was way different than the bag it came from, and a lot
of times each plant that came from the same bag seed was different. For the most part, if it's decent, and gets me high,
I'm happy. But I will always be on the lookout for a good, true pure sativa.

I'll be going back to Mexico later this year again, I will see what I can find there. I might get lucky. :D

I have been looking for grow reports on this, anyone have anything?
I'm wondering about this as well. Received my Mango Zamal beans a few weeks ago...but no time to grow 'em yet (and u need quite a bit of time to flower these out, for sure). I'd like to try them outdoors here...not this year unfortunately, but maybe next.

I already got some going about 2 week old seedlings. There is a grow thread going on over at grass city and this guy has mango zamal in his grow, they seem to be big healthy sativa plants. I just hope the buds look like they do in mandalas picture, those buds look crazy frosty in the center.
