I took a large cardboard box and cut the top off. Then took a hole punch and a measuring tape. Measured 3 inches down (not down from the top but down from one side to the other). Make a mark at each 3 inch spot. Now using the hole punch put a hole in the box about 2 inches from the top. Keep marking and punching holes until you have made you way across the box. Now get some nylon string. The fun part. Run the string through the holes. Make sure it is tight. Very tight. When done tie it off. You now have the perfect way to dry buds.

what about the air flow? what do you do just let it sit? it will be in my attic, so should i cover it with a bag? and for how long should i dry, and how do i know its perfectly dry, how do i prevent mold. stuff like that. sorry about the questions but i dont want to leave it to chance.

more: is there anything i do after i let it dry, becuase ive heard about curing it in a jar?

thanks man or anyone else that wants to help out

I don't think an attic would be good being that it can get pretty humid in there depending on where you live... But I'm sure there are ways around this. Just don't dry it out too fast.

I took 2 kitty litter buckets, the rectangular 5 gallon style, cut a passive vent in the bottom of 1 bucket and covered it with nylon stocking. I cut the top 4 inches or so off of the other bucket and glued a wire mesh basket inside that I made from heavy gauge stainless steel screen. The basket can have bigger buds hung from it and the smaller buds dry laying down. I made a DIY carbon filter for the top using a computer fan and presto, a filtered drying box. No smell and it dries a bud down in about 5 days.
