many questions for experienced outdoor growers

Hi RIU <3 I have some noob questions about growing because this is my very first grow.
Heres my situation: I have a 5L bucket with holes drilled in the bottom, and planning on germinating/planting seeds in ONE month!! I plan make a 1 inch layer of gravel on the bottom, and filling the rest with pro-mix, worm castings, and that lime stuff? (< not to sure about that one)
QUESTIONS
1) with pro mix do i need to add fertilizer after a few weeks of growing? Or just water? If i do need to fertalize, with what and how much per gallon of water?
2) for watering is creek water usable, or rainwater?
3)what are a few brands that are very similar(or better a.k.a. already have lime) to promix
4)how much worm castings for a 5L bucket?
5) do you think i should just try one seed? because filling like 3 buckets with all of that soil and shit seems pricey
6) what is the best fertalizer to use? (im using sparingly because burning the plant wont be a good idea...

sorry about the length of this but i really want to make some money :) any other tips to help me out or simple variations/changes to my soil etc. are accepted. Please tell me what you do that is SIMPLE and not tooooo much work or things to buy.

1 dont feed them anything , just water them for a couple weeks. Most nutes have a min/ max quantity you should use. READ THE PACKAGE.
2 creek water/rain etc..will be fine , i think it would be a good idea for you to do a walking mission upstream and see where the water might be coming from as well. (e.g. not a waste gate for the oil factory)
3 any dirt/soil is good just go dig up ya backyard
4 i thought you were trying to save money?. You can get good bud without them.
5 grow the lot man, if your gonna do it, GO BIG!
6 any will do, just make sure you have the right nutes for each stage. Veg/ Flowering stages. Do more reading
Just remember. IF YOU GROW CHEAP, YOULL GET CHEAP RETURNS simple!.

dig dam holes man roots hate heat and holes are free- work and yield more less watering also
any water is good so yes a creek is fine
as for fertilizing read up on other threads to get into dental but basically a high nitrogen fertilizer in the spring with a small phosphorous content for roots and small potassium content then when budding starts turn to a phosphorous fertitlizer with no nitrogen

I would grow 6 , 1 per 12ltr bucket.

I would use any multypurpose compost and not use anythink for drainage as its not needed in a pot (drill holes)

For nutes i would try tomorite as its cheap and does work but the better option is iguana juice you have to get the 2 parts , vegetation stage and bloom.

You will be watering about 1ltr a day per plant

Feeding every 2 weeks from the age of around 8 weeks old.

yes or no? this is my plan.
FFOF in a 5 gallon bucket(normal size bucket), 2 tablespoons of lime, and something to retain water, possibly moss. Water 2 liters every 2 days if it doesnt rain.
-how many ounces do you think an average/below average weed plant will get?

Don't think about certain amounts. Strive to get as much as possible. High hopes often come crashing down.
I'd recommend looking stuff up. Read.

Then read some more. People typing stuff on the screen may help you now, but you don't understand what it really means.

Look up percentages as well, might be good to know about those things.

1 plant is fine... thatll be money made. not trying to blow alot of money on my first grow. next year there will be more:)

what if it turns out to be a male plant = money wasted. Starting with one seed is a horrible idea. If your gonna put time and money into it you should at least start as many seeds as you can find, then weed (no pun) out the weak ones and the males. Even if it did come out good, on your first grow 1 plant wont get you enough money to pay for your material.
