""With very small puppies and small dogs it becomes a greater risk because their body weight is so small that if they were to ingest a large amount it could lead to comas, seizures or even death," she said."

>death... i think not..

that is reserved for tobacco

first it was what about the children now its "the puppies"

who has roaches??? I always take em apart to destroy the evidence :lol
I save em up...I just reclaimed the weed from a tobacco tub full of them...104 g of roach weed! Not the nicest tasting smoke...but it does the trick for a backup. On the subject of mj toxicity in dogs...I'm no expert, but i can't see one roach causing medical distress in anything bigger than a squirrel. I don't agree with getting an animal high, but my rotti loves eating stocks and stems.

I've seen a squirrel eat a nug. He still comes round looking for more. Had a min pin eat half a highly medicated muffin someone left on the counter. He went on a trip all right. Survived it just fine but man was he baked and stuck to the couch for a full day.

Yes yes it does try feeding a dog a quarter of weed and see the results I've seen them first hand by an accident it's not pretty it's very scary
I've seen it to. It not that bad. My dog just laid there stoned for the day and evening. This was a small Yorkie that ate a quarter. I didn't give it to her. I turned my back and she jumped on the table and ran with it. She liked pot though. I wouldn't suggest forcing or randomly feeding it to your dog.

well id say dogs are the dumbest animals alive if they are not trained.
left to forage for shit, Kleenex, socks and hard plastic, that's is the owners problem for having a animal they don't train and pay a lot of attention to.
bad dog owners.
also I know a few people who give small buds to their pets and they are fine.
more bs to make mj look bad

Who the hell doesn't throw roaches on the ground? It's going to rot away within weeks. What are stoned people supposed to do now? Bury them every time? Climb a tree and put it up there? Putting them in your pocket isn't a great call, I know that.
well the finger sized cannons I smoke? I don't throw roaches away, 5 roaches = a 1/4 lol
your made of $$$$, playa

Dog coulda ate a whole bar of chocolate with no effect at all?

Fresh cannabis is not decarbed and obviously will not have an effect. To ignore side effects is a little...well idiotic. Thc in humans is not the same as with pets as i mentioned. Receptors arent the same

We have a rat that's a pet and it has a huge tumor but is otherwise healthy...
the sugar leaf I had out was to make some oil for the rat.....which mixed with olive oil he will eat...
just need to be careful on the dose....

I have had several dogs that liked mj. I had a pit that loved beer. None forced, they learned that they liked it on their own. The pit would knock my beers over to lap them up. I got tired of it and would pour him one. The Yorkie would follow a blunt around the circle. She would actually get in your face to get you to blow some smoke at her. There are quite a few animals in the wild that get high.

actually, a dog will get violently ill and possibly die from eating chocolate. My point was that the dog could have been killed from a perfectly legal chocolate bar. To reply to posts without understanding them is a little...well idiotic.

It can cause death and very serious side effects.
have reports on two diff dogs that got into medibles. not a kind thing to do to an animal.

one, the guy had forgotten about potent sucker on low-shelf and started panicking when he thought his dog had been seriously poisoned. not a cheap vet bill. another, guy had left a tray of cookies out and his roommates dog ate most of them. the dog was smaller and had consumed a very hvy human sized dose. dog almost died. expensive vet bill,

Before you speak, know what your speaking on...or maybe to who
Do you know what specifically is in the chocolate that effects the dog? And do you know what the levels are in an avg chocolate bar, and the weight with ld50?
Because i do, and am well aware of what happens to a dog after eating chocolate. My doberman loves chocolate.

However is terrified of weed after eating some crumbs of an edible
