Very interesting what most of already know. Marijuana use only is not bad for your health.

One does not need new studies to find this. There are actually quite a number of studies cited on government sites. Pub Med and The National Cancer Institute have a lot of info that shows the feds did studies in the early 80s finding cancer patients did benefit from smoking marijuana.

Chemo patients, my self included, experience severe nausea problems, foods develop horrible tastes and appetite severely declines. Gov studies show marijuana helps at least 25% of these people.

One-quarter of the patients reported a favorable antiemetic response to the cannabinoid therapies.
Three trials have evaluated the efficacy of inhaled marijuana in chemotherapy
in the cannabinoid group—food tasted better, appetite increased, and the proportion of calories consumed as protein was greater than in the placebo recipients

They know it works thats why the FDA approved Synthetic canabinoids. Being an FDA approved synthetic is rather useless when doctors won't prescribe it.

The best medicine , the doctor claimed, was Zofran ODT 8mg. 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed for severe nausea. The script was for only 6 tablets and no refills! I found it to be useless. Only good thing was insurance paid for it. It can get quite expensive depending upon where you get it. http://www.rxzone.us/product.cfm/rx/Zofran-ODT-Tablets-8-MG-Each-524470.html

This latter study was reported in abstract form in 1984. A full report, detailing the methods and outcomes apparently has not been published, which limits a thorough interpretation of the significance of these findings.
When a study is done with federal funds, that results in finding treatment beneficial to cancer patients, yet no official report is published, one can only conclude that the Federal Government does not want the people to know about it.
