Marks Forums Read action not working.

in the Forum Actions when i click on Mark Forums Read i get this message:

vBulletin Message
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

i clicked on the inform the admin link and described my problem but have gotten no response. what is goin on here?
