Mars Hydro TS2000W Review

This is my first upgrade post-blurple LEDs. I wanted to try out a "full spectrum" LED without dumping a ton of money into it (planning an F strip build eventually).

I was able to pick it up on sale for about $200 which was around the same that I had invested in the blurple lights (a pair of VIPAR SPECTRA 300W) but with a much better efficiency rating (almost identical real power draw to the others). Right now I've got two "Wedding Cake," one "Conjugal Visit," and one "Forbidden Zkittles" going under the light. Everything is organic/living soil with compost tea.

Setup - super simple, no soldering or funky connections, just plug and play.

Construction- feels fairly cheap but has not had any major issues. With the drivers removed it wants to lean to one side slightly- I just stuck a small weight on there to balance it out. Drivers come with long enough cables to easily mount outside of tent.

Heat generation- with drivers removed from the tent it seems pretty mild. If I keep my dehumidifier off my day cycle stays around 75-78 and it's pulling mostly ambient air from my house.

Results- Definite improvement over anything I got from my blurple LEDs (and looks better than any product at the dispensaries around me). About 1-2 weeks from harvest but noticeably more, larger, denser buds. Noticeably heavier trich concentrations on/around the buds than previous harvest.

Final conclusion: never going blurple again. Definitely solid for the price, once I upgrade to a custom F strip build I will save this light/move it into my veg tent. I'm sure there are far superior models out there but for ~$260 full price I would definitely recommend the product if you're on a budget.

So what was the outcome? What was the final weight from how many plants? Got pics of the Lights?

It's the same light I'm using for my Mars Hydro cup grow (see my signature line).

Dry weight around 1.5 lbs....not bad considering I was battling a fungal gnat/root aphid infestation for a lot of the flowering cycle.

You’re telling me you got 680g from a 300w light?

Lol no that's what I like to call high math.. (don't do gram to lb conversions in your head while doing dabs, bad idea).

I'll need to dig back into my notes for the total of good bud minus larf/crap I immediately tossed in with my bubble hash and update this tomorrow

FYI it's labeled "300w draw" but my Sonoff plug says it's more like 280 with the drivers on 100%
