terrorism: is not: a person(S) religion, ideology or force that has substance.
it is a reaction a syntax, of the break down of community and human values. it not something that will change until a monumental shift in human architectonics and introspection. until the architectonics( of human thought) is changed to a global prospective.
no amount of laws, gun bans, bombs, or overseas military will stop this.
if you want to stop terrorism you can wait until the Zentraedi battle ship crashes to earth. or you can separate people who what to live "like others/like themselves"
we are all terrorist, we torture those who get in our way/thoughts or other wise. if you have brother and sisters, you grew up being a terrorist, farting in face. breaking he remote so that no one could use it. moving their wet laundry without even putting it in the dryer because "she always hogs the machine" on a scale, these is all terrorist actions.
in a real dick move, some people key other people cars, or take parking spots they know would piss a neighbor off, play music to loud.
terrorism is simply reacting to the people you don't like, or who irritate you.
ill add one more thing: if guns where invented, these people would still find away to kill., TBH I glad its guns and not poisons or cars running down sidewalks. at least with guns its a local event.

I can't say that arming the populace for defense of crimes is crazy.
Not too far back in our history everyone was armed. I don't think it would be the issue you claim it to be.
I've often thought that every person needs to take responsibility for protecting themselves, if they don't then they can't ask for police assistance.
I'm sure there would be some mayhem if everyone started carrying.
It would work itself out though. We would be raised around them again and have a more intimate relationship with them. I think people would be more responsible after a period of time.
All of what I've just stated is probably from my up bringing. We lived out in the sticks so far the police and ambulance response times were in hours.
It is not as simple an argument about the gun. Yes, the gun allowed for many people to be killed.
As you say though, a car might have been far worse.
Peolle have been killing each other since we have been around. Technology has made killing easier and more efficient.
I can think of quite a few ways to kill 50 people without a gun. Don't take that out of context.

In my state, the minute you "break" into my house I can shoot you. The act of forcing yourself into my home is considered lethal force on your part and I'm allowed to shoot.
It happened to me. Woke up to someone trying to kick my door in. The front door and back door were 20 foot apart and I had my wife and six month old at home.
The person is lucky my Pitt bull broke his chain and run them off. I would've killed them the second the door broke.
I didn't want to kill them and I'm glad I didn't have to.
I was also robbed at gunpoint at 16.
The world can be a screwed up place, and humans can be horrible.

In reality this country has been dropping bombs, missles and supplying weapons killing people who live in mud houses,their military is comparable to a large boy scout troupe but they're extreme.
They've occupied and destroyed multiple countries,killed tens of thousands of people,spent billions, and slowly taken away the rights we have under the constitution.Took over afghnistan looking for bin laden and iraq for WMD and found nothing in either place.
They had this kid labeled an isis terrorist before they got into the building. The people in this country are being kept in fear of terror so we can continue to invade countries taking what we want, natural resources in my opinion pretending we're fighting a war on terror. I have no idea how you can fight a war against an idea. Theres no enemy, no uniforms, no military, no boundries,nothing. Very similar to the war on drugs Reagan started and has done absolutely nothing but cost trillions. I live in the boston area and there is a heroin problem that is killing people daily. Last year 1500 deaths in one of the smallest states in the country. Its gone up every year since about 2000. The war on drugs didn't do shit, and now the US controls the largest producer of it in the world and its at epidemic proportions. How does that happen? I hope people will see that its not about guns, closing borders,or religion. If the US stayed in their lane this shit wouldn't happen. It doesn't happen in Canada, Mexico, South America, China,Russia, Ireland, Australia, seems to happen to us and our supporters.
