I am thinking about putting a few out round the same time, maybe a week or two earlier, and I was hopin to get some nice size buds. Im kinda central Georgia, near Savannah, but nobody i know grows outside so im not sure what to expect. Round what area are you working with?

I used to grow outdoors when I was in Lex. Like you, I started them early to get a good start on the veg- usually 8-10 wks is good. When the plants are bigger before going outdoors the harm from pests is minimized because there's more plant to absorb the damage. At a certain point they seem to become less attractive to rabbits and such, too. Milorganite, a lawn product sold widely, is an effective deer repellent. Just strew it around and they stay away. Finally, don't hurry to get them out. A cold spring will stunt the growth badly and it takes a long time for them to recover. Keep them warm and growing inside until at least mid-May, better yet is May 31. The ground MUST warm up before your weed will be vigorous. If you are absolutely driven to put some out early don't do them all. You'll see- I did this for 15 yrs outside.

978 area code here... OG Kush - Original Ghost Cut. I have been told by a number of seed distributors not to start the seeds until mid June so that they start budding earlier and completely mature before or just around the first frost of fall.

Seems a little late for me and I was almost ready to build a greenhouse.

Anybody agree or disagree with this???

I can only think they mean not put them out until then; seems pretty late to start, most of the legal flowers are in by then.
