Where were you able to buy the dry ice? I've had no luck.
my local airgas has it. There a welding supply store. They usually stock it and it’s $1.26 a lb. I use about 5 lbs at a time to make hash. Theres a few places around that have it. Just call local industrial gas suppliers or ice distributors. I’m a welder by trade and have an airgas account anyway so it’s easier for me to get it there.

Do you then press it into hash pucks, or leave as is? How do you store it?
i leave most of it as is. In its powder form it’s great to mix into joints and sprinkle in bowls etc. I give some away to friends for birthdays and holidays lol everyone’s favorite treat haha. I store it in ball jars and put them in the refrigerator. I also use some it to press into Rosin for dabs. Makes great oil

This is a good idea, I may try doing it this way, it seems way easier ... I've always gone old school and use a silk screen ... scrape everything through until it starts to turn a lime green... i'm starting to realize that's a pain in the ass though

... that's assuming I ever get there.. most are barely showing any amber yet, a few here and there on the sugar leaves... the closest one is the Blue Funk .. that's showing probably 10% amber but still has about 10-15% clear as well .. I could be a week out on this one, maybe more

Thanks for the advice Dsmer. My employer is a supplier to Airgas. And Airgas is running a Halloween decorating promotion for their dry ice so no questions asked :bigjoint:

Starting to chop my sour d girl.. thai has another week or so.. going to keep her up till the end.. indicas been chopped, dried and is curing.. who else is still going?
I still have everything up except the one I chopped a couple weeks ago... by outwards appearance alone they look done, but most are still showing very little amber... the colder nights has definitely slowed growth and they're all taking their sweet ass time, but I'm going to ride them till the wheels fall off

It's definitely looking like fall in the greenhouse now

LSD - these are a fluffy green and they're frosting up fast .. they still scope very little amber w no signs of any major problems... I'll let them go as long as they want, could be another week or two ... fed them for the last time last week

IMG_2988.jpg

BLUE FUNK - these buds started a fluffy green, turned an aqua blue/green, and now an almost dark purple .. no white hairs and by all outward appearances looks done ... it's scoping a little amber but could go a little more... I'm keeping a close eye on this one and ready to pull it

IMG_2981.jpg

SWEET ZKITTLEZ - this has been the black sheep all year, it grew tall an spindly and has flowered so slowly ... it's also taking on a lot of purple color, especially in the sugar leaves ... it's still showing plenty of white hairs and scopes no amber yet ... this one will get fed one last time this week but probably has 2+ weeks to go

Well my season is officially over. Last plant is drying now. The others have been curing for 3 weeks now. Any suggestions what to do with my garden bed at this point to prepare for next year? It’s my first time doing an organic no till recycled soil. I threw all my fan leaves and leftover plant material in there to compost but is there anything I should add now? Or just wait till early spring?

I'm topdressing all beds with a cpl inches of EWC/compost then throwing a handful of white clover seed down .. i'll keep the clover next year as living mulch
