Just got a new system and going with Dutch Master Gold line after years of GH. Any pitfalls you guys know of with the line? It comes highly recommended by my guru.

I am near completion using the full Gold line up. I like it. You need to add all additives before the nutes. Their nute calc chart is absurdly high (~ 40%).

I am switching to DM ONE Grow + Zone + Silica (no more ADD): During Flower same but add Potash+. This will save a lot of $$$$$

I also bought LL & S but I do not see the value/$$$$

i use to use grow, flower,AD, liquid light, penetrator, and zone faithfully. then H&G came along and i switched to aquaflakes A&B, roots excelarator, beastie blooms, and shoot powder. 5 liter bottle of aqua flakes a&b for veg and bloom 60-65$ vs 4 liter of a&b grow, and A&B flower for a total of 140! its good stuff, but the cost isn't justified. zone is great, but roots excelurator is suppose to make some awesome roots, is full of beneficial bacteria, and is suppose to keep root rot away. i just started using it 3 days ago so i dunno yet.

I used the DM Gold line for the first couple. I only added rapid start and at very end I used a small amount of KB powder. I liked what I was seeing but after hearing how good the additives work I thought I would give them a shot. I went with there whole line up for this one. Kinda of $$ so hope it comes out well.

I have used Dutch Masters since long before the change to Gold. I have followed them for many years and am still happy with their products, doing soil now so using something different but i still have piles of samples laying around.
I have run 2 different set ups with Dutch Master Nutrients since the change to gold.
1st is just as the website says, i like to run hot so i don't mind their high numbers, rarely burn anything. Zone is essential, but is not for growing roots, it is for "conditioning" the root system, and basically is a sterilizer. This will take care of all disease risks, but bugs can survive it.
2nd is omiting the extremely expensive add .27, and replacing it with dutch master advanced MAX (not MAX-fx that is a foliar spray). You use dramatically less Max than Add .27, and it costs less. You can edit the calculator on Dutch Masters site for this conversion, and i think it may work better, not much but great.
The one big difference i have seen between the old advanced line and the new gold line is the plants now branch unbelievably, probably twice as much as they did, requires more trimming to keep things orderly.
Need any help with this i have lots of experience, feel free to ask!

YA I am having great success with DM Gold series. Right now I am 4 weeks into flower, rocking the DM Gold add2.7, silica, zone, potash+, A & B. I am very happy with the result so far!
