Matching Drivers and COBs

whats up everyone? i ran my last lights in parallel but i wanted to run the new ones in series and i wanted to double check my shit before i order a bunch of the wrong drivers. ive got 32 cxm22s on the way from cobkits and im gonna be pairing them up with hlg185h-c700b's @ one driver per 4 cobs to put them at 50w each. my question is can i use those same drivers to power 4 citi 1212's since they are 36v cobs instead of 50v like the cxm's?

heres the specs on the driver just in case-
Input Voltage 90~305vac Universal Input
Constant Current 700 mA
LED Total Fwd Voltage Min 143.00 vdc
LED Total Fwd Voltage Max 286.00 vdc
Output Power 200 Watts

You could run 7.94 (8 will almost certainely work, but 7 will work for sure) citis cobs on a single driver and they would be seeing like 24 watts each.
Also you could run 5.72 CMX22s (maybe 6)on each driver

You can run 4 of either on a driver also if thats how you want to do it, but cutting it close to min Voltage with 4 Citis.

can anyone confirm that n.4 citi CLU048-1212C4-353M2K1
are fine for HLG-240H-1750B at max power?
if i see simulator voltage at Tc 50° it's between 37.0 and 37.4v...
on calculator total voltage Tj 50 = 147.92v
thank you

Good day to you all!
Many thanks to all DIY masters...made this possible for me...for 500$ CDN (350$ us)

20''x17'' 4 x CXB 3590 @ 1400ma

btw, I have the ''a'' model of hlg185...can I play with dimmer while its on?
also is it normal the driver warms up like this, I can touch it, but its hot...

thank you

Looks very nice!
You can dim with issue at all.

hmm driver emits a buzz when not at full throttle, very shady dimmer...will know for next time...option b with external dimmer.
Would it make the same sound? no buzz @100% and the more you dim the louder the buzz...
maybe im a buzzer freak, with anything around might not ear it but since this thing is silent...

I had driver (B type) buzzing at full throttle the other day, and I noticed the Voltage at the wall was low that day.
It seems that shouldnt matter, but it hasnt happened since.

I havent had any buzzing with A type drivers.

Hello people. Need help. Grow room 4x8(1.2mx2.4m) 2x frames 10 cobs 1825 3000k at 1050ma. How match drivers ?
Will it be a more effective system than 12 cree cxb 3590 2xhlg 240 1050.? I have it already runing i another tent 4x4 its perfect lihgt for me. I

I got an 15leds of it and MEANWELL NES200-36 driver and all are connected in parallel on the aluminum heatsink panel. It's getting very much hot and leds are getting blast Pls help me! !!!!!¡

Hey fellows,
I'm planning a DIY LED-Panel for my 140cm*60cm*120hight stealth Ikea Pax.
I'll use the cree Cxb3590 CD 80Cri....
The Growbox is for a long term run.
The point where I'm not sure...
Right now I only can effort 6 cobs and the rest of the stuff.
I could go for 6*36V with 1.4A with 54% efficiency and all good.
Or I could take for the first grow 6*72V with 0.7A with less efficiency and add 6 more later...
6*36V 1.4A and 6*72V 0.7A is the same output W with a different efficiency and mol/sm2, right?
Wouldn't it be smart to run the 72V system more softly (less distance to the canopy) with at the end 12*72V Chips running with 25W each?

Is the efficiency benefit resulting from same power work less cost and the advantage of getting closer to the canopy that high that it justifies the 300€ more costs?

I'm using hlg constant current driver with dimming option B.
I think I'd rather use dimming feature A.
Is there any disadvantages of the A series?

Also,
Is anyone using an AC powered 1-10volts dimmer?
Schematics show the dimmer gets AC power from wall, then drivers get AC power from dimmer and dimming wires get 1-10 volts from dimmer.
I think the only reason drivers get power from dimmer is so that they can be turned off and on by using dimmer.
My question is cant I just power drivers independently and just use 1-10 volt to dim?
My reasoning is since I use a timer for powering everything off and on.
