Maxsea Seaweed Fertilizer 3-20-20 ~ 24 oz. - eBay (item 180254379728 end time Jun-20-08 12:02:17 PDT)

Just got a call from family up in the northern cali emerald triangle region....

Apparently there is quite a buzz on this stuff up there right now as the outdoor growers are entering their flowering cycles

Any thoughts/experiences/ ideas on such a high phosphorous/K concentration?????

Heard some really good things about seaweed
I've been using it for years, check out my girls in outdoor growing, posted ) How do they look 2 ) Hope this helps, good luck

yah it's kind of hard to find, but ebay (tindara's garden store) and tindara's website carry it for 15.95 per 16 oz. can...a few specialty shops carry it specifically online and if you google really hard you can find it for almost half price ;) hope this helps. peace and stay up.

I took a look tindara's garden store on Ebay for that Maxsea. Talk about expensive shipping, $ 11.60 for shipping a 24 ounce item to me. I will not be buying any from her, that is not even close to reasonable. That's just crazy.....
.
I'm not that far gone yet.... LOL...

Drumsinttown... Instead of buying some right away, my frugal side kicked in. I was going to shop around a bit and compare prices. I was talking to a bud, today, who hydros and he had some. I traded him some seeds for some Maxsea 3-20-20. He said the stuff kicks total butt, and he doesn't throw out compliments to often.
.
He bought his a fancy garden center - that serves the Rose & Orchid Crowd. So, it's available as far south as Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm going to give it a try, on a couple of Skunks, entering the home stretch. Thanks for the Info.......
.
Keep it Real ... Organic ....

this was posted like 2 years ago but since then i think there is plenty of stuff that is as good as Maxsea, unless Maxea had something special to it. Maxi crop is liquid seaweed and is available online and its really cheap, like $20 for a gallon. I asked my mom to pick some of it up at the hydroponics store and they gave her some Organicare Seaplex which is the same thing basically, it was like $16 for a quart, not sure how they all compare

Is the BioBizz Alg-A-Mic basically the same thing? The alg-a-mic doesn't even have an NPK number on it, so...
Im guessing the Maxsea has lots of P and K...

I just put some on yesterday. very potent stuff. The directions said 8 cups per 100 gallons so I decided to cut that in half and then half again to get a low ppm. I used 2 cups in my 55 gallon barrel and got a ppm of 1950. 1 cup seems good and has a antifreeze green tint to it. Can't wait to see how the girls like it.

someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I have heard seaweed will have a negative effect on taste if used later in flowering. anyone?
