Hey Dudes Im a Newbie on the forum and a newbie to this grow scene. Im an old Skooler when it comes to growing, meaning , last time I grew was back in the 80s/90s when you got a couple of seeds out of the Bush you were toking, chopped a coke bottle in half put compost in the bottom and used the top as a greenhouse,, and the golden rule always, was to feed a bit of babybio and water when the first serrated leaves appeared , U stick it in ya bedroom window and in 8 weeks ya stripped it bare dried it way to quickly and smoked the whole thing!!!!! But this new scene seems to be a scientific X natural procedure, doing my homework before splashing out on gear and seeds ,I kinda realised that the way weed is grown now is like keeping ya weed on the straight and narrow with plenty of good ph friendly water and light, then when strong enuff spike em with plant amphetamine (nutes) to kick its ass into serious weed plants,,, I like It and want to do it .
SO! Now thats out the way, I have a 240cmx120cmx200cm mammoth grow tent, extractor and intake fans , radiator, oscillating fan, wilma drip system modified with cut out bottom and reservoir air curtains,Im using airpots with cannacoco, everything on auto timers and temp gauges etc ,,,,,, but I'm befuddled by the lights, theres so many different dudes saying which is best for whatever reason. During my own research I found the Maxibright Daylight set up with the veg and bloom bulbs , seems to me you get the best of all worlds superior light performance for the crop and less watts from your wallet, could anybody give me some guidance please as my babes need to leave the nursery very soon . thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

If you have some cash in your pocket and want what everyone is saying best bang for your buck you'd go with a nice COB array. I am running some blurple lights now.. Viparspectra "600s" and they are doing just fine. But after reading and seeing all the grows with COB's I really wish I bit the bullet and just went with some COBs. You can make them yourself or buy cob kits or timber cobs. They say 400watts of cobs can beat out a 1000w HPS/MH . I dont have any proof of that but its been said on RIU.
