Hello where i live the water is free and cold, i like the idea of cooling 3 k sealed grow room with free water.. I have read and seek many forum and i cannot find a free water cooled run to waste grow room.Do you can help me.

Umm what the hell does that say? You can buy water cooled reflectors but to cool a whole room I dont think will work as you would have crazy humidity problems imo. Unless you had a barrel full of ice cold water and kept running air through duct work and let it bubble threw drum but i still believe crazy humidity problems

Run water through heat exchangers. You can buy an Ice Box for the lights and use something like a car radiator with a fan to cool the room.

Tanks anzohaze to reply at my post, for cooling my room i want to take automotive intercooler or radiator and run to waste free tap water like heat exanger for the humidity if i not go over a dew point with a thermostat sensor wired to selenoid valve to let open and close selenoid to control cold water to maintain maximum 20°f diference with heat exanger and room air. Sorry for my very bad writing i just speak french.

Yes your talkin like an evaporative ac for like a auto shop the downfall to somethin like that is it will dampen the air. Also water will get all over theb place will keep humidity number high and un controllable. Im my 50x50 shop we have a big ac that runs water over the condenser to cool it to cool off the air if you stay in front it will dampen your clothes

ice box heat exchangers on each hood will reduce a 1000w lights exhaust to 75 degrees roughly. in my room I could lay my face on the class of my 1000w lights after the had been on for 12 hours. to cool the ambient temps of the room you may been a small 8,000btu a/c. they even make water cooled air handlers too. they get a little more pricey but if you eliminated the 3 icebox it wouldn't be that much more expensive. might have to add an inline pump to increase pressure.

I've been doing water cooled grows for a while and they are SUPER efficient and easy to set up. no hvac guys or anything. straight plug and play.

If i can i want to run 3 k bare bulb vertical with 1 big heat exanger to cool all the room
best bet is a water cooled air handler then if you are set on sticking with the water cooling idea. problem is your water probably isn't cold enough. I run my reservoir inside my chiller at 45 degrees for my air handlers. helps with humidity that way as well. anything above 55-60 degree water and you are better off getting a minisplit or window a/c

Just get a mini split. water cooling is very inconsistant and hard to dial in. your gonna need 6000 btu per bulb. plus about 4-6k btu for the room your in.

i beg to differ. I've been using water cooled technology for a while and it's literally plug and play as long as you are competent enough to piece together some tubing. and it's 40% more efficient than a/c. plus, no need for an hvac guy. my 12hp chiller has been running without issue for 4 years. my 2hp chiller at another site ahs run for 3 years with no problems. running drain to waste is even easier. basically garden hose hookups.

Tanks all to reply to my tread, for the moment i am broke and cannot buy a/c or chiller i want to try a simple system: tap water flow flowing to heat exanger and a thermostat sensor on the heat exanger conected to a water valve selenoid to control heat exanger temperature to eliminate water condensation on the heat exanger, with the hot summer day the tap water temp climb to 65°f

chillking chiller (2-20hp) depending on the size of your room. chillking water cooled air handler (1-5 ton). hook up 2 hoses. wire up the compressor and the air handler. ready to go. they are the most efficient systems I've ever worked with.

All you need is a fan coil! It will also reduce humidity? But you will need to run a drain. Google fan coils and there will be tables to calculate size. Also if you have access to Princess Auto they have small fan coils as well. Keep in mind, depending on size of well pump, pressure tank size, and well capacity, all come into play. If you need to ask anything else feel free to PM me. I install all sorts of geo, water, and air source systems.

search "swamp chiller" lol, pretty simple rig, has its advantages and drawbacks

i could see one used in a veg room for explosive growth, but in flower i'd be careful, like said, of humidity

Yes they do generate huge amounts of moisture due evaporative effect. Also still need water and fan. Water coil probably a better choice. But as said read up on them, they are pretty cool....,hahaha!
