Any good quote ideas? I like this one

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

and i know i shouldnt get a tattoo based on other opinions but i would like to read input atleast

Painful spot buddy..

The "as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.." quote is extremely common, so if you don't mind that, go for it. Personally I like totally unique tat's, but if it's a quote, I guess it's limited to what you can really do.

My suggestion would be to read through your bible and when something stands out, you see something that actually means something to you, deep down, write it down and read it back to yourself for a couple weeks. If it means something to you personally, you'll be proud to wear it.

not sure what that tattoo in the picture say's. but hopefully it reads. :"i am the infidel who invaded your land, occupied your air space, bombed your citys, captured and killed your comrades and leaders, foiled your terrorist plots, and seeked revenge in the name of the USA"

Number one.... buy your own bottle of ink make sure that the artist does not check the sharpness of the needle with his or her skin. #2 Make sure they Autoclave their gun (real good). Hepatitis C is no fun! Oh and what you think is cool today is not 20 years later and make sure you can cover it with short sleeves. Although it is religious and seems OK with you, some skin heads think a Swastika is OK and only find out later it is looked on as extreme. FYI

I am sorry you want to have tattoo, but if you want it that much put it where everyone can see it all the time. Like maybe your forehead or on your hands. Hope this makes you rethink tattoos. Good luck

1.Please stop giving tattoo advice when you dont know shit....telling the person to but their own ink is retarded at best. How exactly is someone going to receie an infection from an ink bottle? You do realize the ink get poured into SINGLE use cups right?

2.Needles are also single use, EVERY artist I know and all the ones in MY SHOP use an eye loupe to check a needle before it gets used.
3,No professional artist refers to their machines as "guns", none. Autoclaving a machine does absolutely NOTHING to protect a person from an infection.

Stop giving tattoo related advice when you clearly know nothing at all about the trade or industry.

lol, maybe the person was talking about getting tatts in prison where one might be required to bring their own checkers so that the "artist" can make some ink out of them, never know, lol...

Why don't you get one that says, "De Plane! De Plane!"

Or a calendar. At least it will be useful for one year.

Or perhaps a tramp stamp in the shape of handlebars.

Or a butterfly.

Or a teddy bear.

Or Jackie Gleason. That would be cool.

im getting this on my right side

and the quote on my left side

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Was just about to post something very similar.

I almost fell off my bed laughing when I read "make sure that the artist does not check the sharpness of the needle with his or her skin" That dude must have had some seriously bad experiences getting tattoos in a meth addicts bathroom.

Why the fuck would you buy your own ink? That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard. He's not a tattoo artist so he knows nothing about ink, which means he'd end up buying the shittiest excuse for ink that's available on ebay and end up getting a nasty infection. Good job asshole, if someone has taken your advice there's a good chance you fucked them up pretty good.

No one autoclaves a tattoo machine (machine... calling it a gun automatically removes any of your credibility and obviously for good reason). Autoclaving would ruin a machine unless you stripped it down to the frame and you'd be crazy to strip your machines to the frame after every tattoo and put them back together and tune them.

Please stop giving advice about something you have no clue about. Please.

lol, i'd love to give you some more rep for that one, but i've got to spread the love some more first.. i had to lol when i read about buying your own ink as well.. i have several tatts, but i haven't a clue as to wtf ink someone would need to give one.. my luck, i'd steal some from my job, i'm an offset printer, and wonder wtf it glows in the dark now, lol..
and same when i read about your artist checking the needles sharpness on his / her own skin before giving someone a tatt... i'd imagine if someone saw an artist doing this, they'd run straight for the door faster than one could say hep c, lol..
