Me and a friend tried to make hash and failed....

Hey guys, me and my friend tryed to make hash and at first we thought it was going well, we blended the leaves and started filtering the good stuff, we ended up with a bunch of goo and figured that was the hash, we took a hair dryer to it for like 45 mins to an hour and it was still green and we tried to smoke it.... what did we do wrong, all it gave us was a tiny buzz and a big stomache ache

what did you filter it through? if you blended in a blender, you need to strain that into another container through a metal coffee filter, and then collect whatever settles in the container after that, which should be a small amount of crystals and some small plant matter.. syphon out most of the water and strain the crytsal through a paper coffee filter... bingo, you got hash powder.. don't blowdry it, let it dry naturally for a few days, with no light..
