So, it seems that I have forgotten to formally introduce myself to all of the people out here. And for that I must apologize. I know it's not a requirement, but I figured if I was going to participate in a grow/culture forum, I might as well do it the right way.
My real name is Aeden. I'm 31. I've been growing marijuana since my freshman year of High School. I got into growing with the help from a friend. His father was a horticultural sciences professor at a local college, and an avid grower. I've learned virtually everything there is to know about growing and breeding and managing plant life, however, I wouldn't call myself a master or nothing. There are many facets of growing that I'm still new to. For instance, I'm not highly familiar with organic growing. I mean, to the extent of using commercial organic nutrients, such as Earth Juice or General Organics, to using commercial organic potting mixes, and sticking to a schedule. But I've never gone so far as learning all about the methods and techniques to run a truly pure organic crop of anything. So, I've lately devoted my spare time to downloading ebooks and research papers on the subject.
I've also recently gotten into aquaponic gardening in the past year and have had a couple small setups. I got into it mainly as a hobby, but found myself engulfed in its entirety to the point that I was making my own modified Bell siphons and flow valves. Oh, and that reminds me. You'll learn that I'm an engineer of sorts, as you read more of my writings. I have always had a fascination with how things worked, and how to make them work better. I'm no degree'd scholar in the field, but I am a journeyman laborer in the craft, if that makes sense. So I like to build shit.
Uh, let's see. I'm an old school gamer. I have had every platform, including the Neo Geo and the Turbo Grafx 16. I love first person shooter games and role playing games. I also like one on one combat games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and whatnot. I currently have an Xbox 360, but I've had a PS3 twice. I have a PSP still in excellent condition. But I have to say, I'm a 360 fan over the Playstation.
I've been practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for quite some time. I have trained with Jeremy Henderson and Robson Moura. I am still a purple belt, but a fierce one to contend with, lol. I've tapped out plenty of black belts in my days.
