But federally (which is what he is running for leadership of) they have not come close to power since Layton died.

I had a doctor that had the same opinion. All drugs should be legal....people are dying so we definitely need a rethink on this.

I had this discussion with some people the other day - everybody had their own ideas. I don't think legalization of all drugs is the answer, it normalizes it and encourages the young & stupid to try. I would rather see decriminalization of hard drugs so addicts are treated as a medical issue and not a criminal one.

Drug use should be a health issue not a criminal one.
