OF COURSE they are....
pretty crazy when I am pretty sure Christ warned against false prophets and esoteric teachings of leaders who claim only they have they have the secret mystery figured out and that only they have the key to it.. same thing applies to religion or politics. (parable of the candlestick). and I fail to see how they are loving their enemies or turning the other cheek when they feel they have been wronged. the reality is that politicians co opted religious beliefs to achieve power. nothing new, still just as gross.

can't make this shit up.

Misery loves company.

DDos-Guard's links to QAnon and 8chan were first reported by cybersecurity journalist Brian Krebs, who reported it also hosts the official site for the terrorist group Hamas. It appears to have previously provided services for Russia's Ministry of Defence, according to business and IT directory Tadviser. Newsweek has contacted the ministry for comment.

Anyone that has a politician as an idol probably needs water wings to eat soup
I like this thought here. What causes someone to reeeeeaaaaaally like someone else? We all have someone; musicians, artists, authors, athletes, etc., but at what point does it become.....weird? Turns out more than half the country are very capable of extreme levels of emotional irresponsibility. Not just a right problem either, though they dominate the category, but we see it on the left too.

Do you trust any politician?

There's nothing special about politicians. I subscribe to George Carlin's thoughts, that they come from American homes and American schools and maybe they aren't actually the problem. As much as our ego's love to remove *us* from *them* so we can feel awesome by having a bad guy to point to, it's probably more accurate to hold up a mirror.

I disagree.

Outside of the Russians pushing Bernie (which the Democratic party voters strongly rejected for Biden), I do not think you have the same cult leader bs on the left.

Feel free to school me on this, but it is not the Democrats have not been relying on lies and propaganda to keep their leaders in power.

Like I mentioned, the right dominates the category, but there is a little bit on the left as well. I'm not referring to the leaders though, in case we had different groups in mind. I'm thinking more the followers, because we do see a few people get a bit kooky about Bernie/AOC/etc. I see people like Trump as more of a symptom/effect and his followers as being closer to cause, so they're my main point of focus in this debacle. Part of why I'm so discouraged these days, it'd be so much easier to simply dislike Trump.

You don't still see all the Biden flags on trucks and in people's yards too? Me neither

I mainly see people trying to sell AOC/Bernie/etc. Basically so that they can then claim use their favorite boogey men of educated women of color and 'socialism'.

I could see maybe that outlets like MSNBC/CNN are doing that to the Q nut with the Republicans, but I don't actually see any hero worship outside of the very real contributions to society they are trying to do.

No one is really in love with President Joe Rob. It's just that Mr Trumpf scared the daylights out of most folks. The GOP gained seats in the house, so it wasn't the brand, it was Trumpf that people were voting against.

Trump is a hero as he is 'not' a politician and is doing the self-sacrifice to restore the America that beat the Russians and could crap on any country in the world and there was nothing anyone can do about it. Oh right, we also want to hang all those socialists that want our money to support crack addicted mothers and their seven brats. Or at least ship them back to Mexico where they belong.
