Med Gom 1.0.... Anybody? 9 weeks or 11???

So I've got 3 Med Gom 1.0's going. They are currently in week 6 and looking lovely with some thick, beautiful top colas that are calling my name. Lol. :weed:
I was curious to see if anybody has had any experience with this strain. I am new to autos so I'm a bit confused as to when this will be done. The breeder and a couple reviews I saw in this said it's done 9 weeks from germination. Then I've read that that 9 weeks doesn't start until they start flowing.... Approximately 2 weeks after germination with most autos. So 11 weeks from germination. I'm not sure what to go with. I might just take one at 9 weeks and the other two at 11. Thoughts? Opinions?

Please and thank you!

Ignore what you've read and just grow it. It'll be ready when it's ready. I've had variations in strains where one seed took over 90 days and another seed 70 days both from the same strain. There's no way of pinpointing an exact time frame with autos or any cannabis for that matter. Each seed will have it's own clock and the parent strain gives only the basic genetics. Ultimately, one never knows which genetic traits in a particular strain (which is made up of who knows how many different strains through it's genetic history) will become dominant. There is a certain amount of stability that is bred into each strain which will give a basic idea of what to expect but autos are known for wider variations within individual strains than photos and I can verify this with experience. Just grow and observe and learn from the experience.

I agree with Choo, companies will post a "general time frame" but don't take it as accurate. When your white pistils recede into the buds and the remaining ones turn amber in colour you are there, the final check is to check the trichomes for the 3 stages, clear, cloudy and amber. My personal taste is roughly 80% cloudy and 20% amber.
Good luck on your grow

They are pretty dense.... Not much give to them. Idk if you can tell but they are incredibly frosty and sticky. Trichs are about half milky half clear so there's a bit to go for sure. I'll have to get back to you on the smell.... I can't breathe through my nose at all. Dang autumn allergies. :-(
